At this price, I didn't expect a super fine and top quality product. However, I expected it to perform the tasks it was supposed to. The first time I tried it, it failed to work on my thoroughbred's mane, so I took an even smaller amount of hair to try it. . . and it did not even work on one single strand. The product is supposed to reduce pain for the horse during the main process, but I found it difficult to use and would recommend anyone try the Solo Calm instead which was heavily recommended to me, but I chose the more inexpensive product. Do not waste money on this item.
My trusty Solocomb started deteriorating in its third year of use, and I wanted to replace its blades with the ManeMaster. This is the first one-star review I have ever left. I figured, "How bad can this be?" when my ManeMaster came at a fraction of the cost of the Solocomb replacement blades. It's something you get for the money you pay for. " The blade is too dull to even cut hair when used as directed (and in the same manner as my Solocomb). The chunks of hair I am referring to are not outrageously large Even after cutting three or four strands at a time, it won't even go through two at a time. This was straight out of the package, its very first use. Over time, it didn't go dull on me. I have never been so disappointed in an item in my life. You are wasting your time and money by using this.
Several years ago, I bought one and after I figured out how to use it it has worked perfectly ever since. Despite the fact that I had barely any time to spare, I gave my gelding a nice haircut in no time and it looked like I spent countless hours caring for Due to a faulty part, I ordered a new one halfway through the cycle. It took me a long time to fix his mane yesterday because the new one would always get stuck. My mouth was watering after watching that. I don't know if it needs to be oiled or not,.
Instead of trying to trim my horse's mane with a butter knife, I should have helped myself to some butter.
A brief call to customer service revealed that the product had no effect and that the company was unresponsive. It failed to even trim a few hairs on the backcomb in the first place. Buy this item at your own risk, it is a waste of.
There is no point in spending money on this it failed to work! In addition to being dull, it's ineffective. My use of this will be limited. You should not purchase it.
I highly recommend this product. I was very satisfied with delivery.
I really like this product. I really like the way it works.
