Yes! The waterproofing wears off over time, but you can extend its life by spraying it with a waterproofing spray. I love these blankets and have purchased them on several occasions.

My horse likes it because it's warm, water-resistant, and fits him well. I've had this blanket on my horse for a week now, and everything is going well. My horse has remained dry and warm despite the wet, icy cold, snowy weather. He spends some time in the pasture and returns to a dry, warm environment. For the price, it's a fantastic blanket, and I'm hoping it will keep me warm all winter. The fact that it was manufactured in China rather than the United States is the only drawback for me.
I've tried other brands, both more expensive and less expensive, and I've come to the conclusion that weatherbeeta is the best, and the horses stay dry even on rainy days.
I would suggest it. For my 30-year-old Arabian gelding, I needed a medium-weight blanket. I already have a rain fly for him, but when it gets colder, I'd like to get him a blanket. I've struggled to find a blanket that fits him properly. For an Arabian, he stands 15 feet tall. I tried several different manufacturers and found this one to be by far the best. It fits him well, with no rubbing or chafing. It REPLACES the water. The buckles appear to be in good condition.
I expected it to be orange and black, but it's purple with an orange Navajo print, which is always a plus!.

Since then, there has been a significant improvement in the non-profit sector. elastic back leg straps (the ones that worked were too long). One flaw is that the chest buckles do not have Velcro. br>br>I'm hoping it lasts as long as the previous blanket did. In the navy, my OTSB is quite attractive.
The buckles and straps are of high quality and should last the life of the blanket. The blanket came in a zippered bag, which will be ideal for storing it during the off-season. Excellent purchase; I'll order another of the same type when I need one.
Over the course of two winters, he wore his previous one almost every day, and it never rubbed him, kept him warm, waterproof, and snug. Far more comfortable than higher-priced brands (at least for him). It'll be the only blanket I ever get him.
