So far, I am very pleased with the results since they stick right to the sides of the tubs and can be seen without opening them. They seem to be accurate and it was simple to switch the temperature to F the first time. They are inexpensive enough that I can afford to buy at least one for each enclosure, and many if necessary. If I add more reptiles in the future, I will most certainly buy more.

My daughter bought this as a gift for her hermit crab and it lived up to all the expectations. The temperature and humidity level are visible at a glance. was all we needed, and now we can easily tell when it's humid enough or whether the heat lamp needs to be activated. So far, it has been sticking to the inside glass since we put it up, but only time will tell if it maintains its hold.

I was also able to read the display through the glass easily in low light, as it is a little bigger than others I have used in the past. There have been no problems with this unit staying in place, it has been completely accurate (readings have always matched those from my other thermometers and hydrometers), and it has performed as expected. The switch from C to F did require a bit of fiddling, but it was not complicated it was just a small change. You'll appreciate being able to read it easily after paying a little extra!.

It was hard for me to read this gauge, so I removed it regularly in order to observe it. The Velcro backing is insufficient to keep it in place in the tank when it's dislodged and lands in the water bowl due to the critter dislodging it.

As a result of some bad reviews, I had been skeptical about buying the system, but it works great and it's What I love the most about this is how it displays the temperature and This was a very good value for Only issue I had was that the sticky piece that came with it to attach it to your tank failed to stay in place. With a heavy duty command strip, I easily fixed it. A second purchase would be a sure thing for me.

I didn't find it disappointing after I adjusted it. RECENT UPDATES Having shown my husband (should have shown from the beginning) was the best decision I've made so far. He removed the pieces that need to meet with the battery in two spots but they were not assembled, so he had to adjust them with tweezers, and now it is working. There was a problem with this product. The document was received on April 2nd, Then it died five weeks ago, so I assumed I needed to get a new battery. Even after replacing it with a brand new one, it is not working.
