It was an exciting sight to see that it had a battery already installed and that a replacement battery was also included, but I was less thrilled to see that the installed battery had leaked and formed corrosion on its I installed the backup battery after cleaning and giving it a good inspection. The unit was working fine for a couple of days before the random readings started happening every few seconds and the unit quit working completely a day later. It's a very good digital thermometer because you can hide the wire underneath the tank and it looks much cleaner as a result. If you get it for the first time, make sure you cross check the temperature with another device to see how accurate it is as some thermometers are inaccurate, so be careful.
It is not clear how I can determine whether the accuracy is accurate, so I did not rate it. It was easy to use the suction cup outside. My filter box was unable to suction the inside one. I try to suction the water to a glass when I change the water. now, it is laying on the top of the filter in my fish tank (you can see my betta examining it). This product came with an additional battery, which is great. There wasn't a box with it. The situation seems to be okay so far. In close proximity to the probe, there was some sort of white paint.
As the name implies, I bought this heater for a two gallon aquarium I love the size and the performance when plugged in, but it does not have an automatic shut-off mechanism and will just keep heating without any sort of protection. I was so happy to find out it was at 83 when I checked it after a couple of hours. A fish soup almost made its way into my mouth! In lieu of that, I bought this Hygger Mini Betta Fish Heater for Small Fish Bowl 15W Aquarium Heater with LED Digital Display, 0-35W It's a great size and I have it in the larger size as well. There is an excellent readout of the temperature you set and you can set it whenever you want!.
