Baby birds are hand-reared and I use this to gauge the temperature inside the baby as well as outside. The probe is flat and small, so it won't hurt the young ones. Several seasons can be enjoyed with the batteries. Unfortunately, I have not been able to learn how to use the suction cup.
However, the quality of work isn't as good as it could be.
Having one of these thermometers for each environment in the pack of three will help me determine which one is effective.
Use one to monitor the temperature of the water in my RES tank and the other to monitor the water temperature on the basking dock.
Every one of them is different, and they break almost instantly.
I really like the way it works.
Working fine, I'm not 100% sure that the readings are accurate, but I trust the brand. I think it would work better for a water aquarium, but I'm not sure.
