This refractometer was purchased as a backup. It took some time to adjust to the screen's "blue" haze. It's simple to use, and the clarity is excellent (with the ability to focus as needed). The screw is hidden beneath the rubber cap and was calibrated with distilled water. As a result, it includes everything you'll require.
The only drawback is that the eyepiece is a little narrow, making reading a little challenging but not impossible. If you have a saltwater aquarium or a decorative pond, this is an excellent tool to have.
It functions satisfactorily, but it appears and feels flimsy. It also appears to be too cheap as a result of this. It's straightforward and effective.
Arrived on time. With a hydrometer, I've been doing this hobby for two years. I decided to upgrade, and the calibration was simple. Simple to work with. This is a good example. It'll be interesting to see how it holds up over time.
Omg! This is fantastic! Why hadn't I gotten this sooner? Mine had already been set up! I double-checked it with distilled water, just in case, as the instructions suggested, and it was spot on!.
It does the job of a refractometer, but it's flimsy and poorly made. The pieces aren't fitting together properly.
