Yes, the clip is movable and can be flipped on and off the thermometer's top. The sticker, on the other hand, may not be able to withstand the humidity. Mine is suspended from a branch:
That's correct.
Hello, the temperature is accurate to within 1 degree Celsius (2 degrees Fahrenheit).
I attempted to use the hole, but no change was made.

There are no batteries included.
These are perfect for my tortoise enclosure. The only issue I had was with the little hooks that came with them; I couldn't use them and there was no other way to mount them, so I had to buy some velcro strips and velcro them to the side, which was inconvenient but compensated for by the accuracy and dependability of the device. br>Recent changes: The screen was ruined by back spray from my mister (which happened over a few weeks). Because it was a reptile product, I assumed it would be semi-permanent. The item is waterproof. It's not a good idea to make assumptions. Keep it dry and out of the way of foggers.
Because I have a bearded dragon, the humidity does not rise very high, but they do show the temperature and humidity at the same time, which is fantastic! Mine has been in my possession for about five or six months, and the batteries are still brand new. They come with clips that have an adhesive square on them that you can stick to the back wall. They're simple to read and look fantastic! 10/10.
Keep it on the substrate as you should, but it's not the best in terms of accuracy and readability; for a few dollars less, you can get an accurite hydro/thermometer, which is extremely accurate, easy to read, and comes with its own stand. br>br>Overall, this did the job for a while, but it's cheaply made, and I'm not sure how accurate it is at this point. I also ordered some accurite ones for a lower price! Save money while getting a better product.
These are what I use to keep track of the temperature and humidity of my reptiles. I have an infrared thermometer gun for my leopard gecko that I use on a regular basis, and these have been pretty close to the temperature gun in terms of accuracy, and while I still use the temperature gun on a regular basis, these really help me monitor the hot and cold sides of the tank. I use these for my crested geckos as well, and the humidity has remained consistent. I use a room humidifier set to 55 degrees Fahrenheit, and each enclosure stays between 55 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the day, which is exactly what it should be.
I was obsessed with the temperature of my juvenile bearded dragon's enclosure as a new bearded dragon owner. I hung these on the walls inside, and they were about 10 degrees cooler than the actual temperature, give or take. I had to buy a temperature gun in the end. I'm sure you could gauge the temperature based on the variance if it was consistently the same, but I wasn't willing to do that.
So far, everything has gone well. It's too soon to give this a rating until I've had it for a week. It works right out of the box and is in good sync with the house temperature. We'll all be fine if it works at the end of the week.
I've got one on the cool side that works fine, but the one on the hot side is giving me problems. During the day, with the lights on (uvb), the one on the hot side is giving me problems. The humidity reads "lo" all day until the lights are turned off (heat lamp). The humidity levels will then fall between 32% and 34%. Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated, especially since I have been unable to locate a customer service phone number or email address. Thanks.
