How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

With its aluminum construction, it is both strong and light.

Questions & Answers

Is the scale for Dogs/Large Animals suitable for human urine as well?

As a veterinarian, I've found this device to be extremely accurate in both dogs and cats. I see no reason why it wouldn't work in humans, but I've never tested it on human urine to be sure. My previous refractometer was a human model, and it appears to match the large dog scale on this model quite well.

Is the cat and dog scale shown in the picture included with this item? We require one for veterinary purposes, and cat and dog scales are essential! ?

Yes, there are two scales, one with a dog on top and the other without. one with a cat on top, as well as a serum labeled on the third scale. It only takes 2 small drops of fluid to get a reading, and it's very simple to use.

Is this something that rabbits can use?

I don't treat rabbits, but I've noticed that the results of the send-out lab tests for dogs and cats are very similar. For dogs under 20 pounds, I use a cat scale.

The photos uploaded are from pig samples, and the serum sample hemolized, which is why it appears fuzzy.

It is simple to use
4/5

It is simple to use. It's effective. It reads best in bright light, but it can be used indoors as well. If you've ever used a refractometer, this is the same process with a different scale.
