Yes, it was true. I'm going to use it for my shrimp tank. The water is clear, and I've recently given birth to a number of new babies.
I can assume that the ones I got were snail free with 100% certitude .
I suppose you could let it float, but I'm not sure why you'd want to do that. It disintegrates and eventually finds its way into your filtration system. br>br>However, it does not contain any snails or parasites. My work was flawless.

It was a good product. It wasn't as nice as it appeared in the photo or how it was rated by others. despite the fact that 60% of the moss had died. I'm confident I'll be able to resurrect it in my growth tank. If you're expecting it to arrive dark green and ready to use when you buy it, you've come to the wrong place, my friend. The moss in my photo was most likely not taken out fresh and sent as soon as possible. Instead, they most likely had it prepared ahead of time. When my order arrived, I had it bottled. They just grabbed whatever was next in line; all I wanted was moss, even if it wasn't fully alive and well. It'll suffice. As evidenced by my photograph. My healthy, fresh moss versus the new brownish yellow moss. If your expectations aren't too high, this is still a good buy. I was planning on putting a 2 in there. 5 rating. Why is it that there is a scent poll option? I'm not sure. I wasn't able to detect any odors.
Well I got the moss and it was mostly green, some might 20% brown/brown but hopefully it will return to its original color but hopefully it will return to its original color but In the tank is a coop. The big surprise, so be warned, is that after I washed it and put it in my tank, which had no fish, shrimp, snails, or other animals for three weeks because it was a new tank, it now has little snails/bugs hours after putting the moss in. So, this is definitely not parasite/snail-free, so be cautious and wash/quarantine even more than usual. br>br>I've been able to identify a few as they appear on other plants' leaves, moving around and eating.
When I ordered this, I had no idea that if I ordered two, I would get a third for free. That was a wonderful surprise for me, and I am overjoyed. Perfection in terms of packaging. It arrived in a box labeled "live plants" and was packaged in a foil bag. I'm going to reuse the cups you see in the attached photo because they're of such good quality. I am extremely pleased with the product quality and customer service, and I will definitely be ordering more items from this company. Thank you very much. br>br>*Update
br>I've had these guys in my 20 gallon Cherry Barb tank for almost a year and they've not only survived, but they've grown tremendously. I've had to trim them a few times, and I was able to transplant some of the trimmings to other tanks. At first, a few small sections died off, but the growth more than compensated for the loss. Still, it's a fantastic purchase that I strongly advise.
Very fast shipping and a nice dark healthy green. After ordering two cups, I received three, exactly as advertised. There were no snails on the plants because they were clean. And each cup had a good amount of it. I used a standard 55 gallon tank and cut a piece of wood to fit the end wall. I bought a mesh from a local store and sandwiched the moss between the two. The Moss is poking through the mesh nicely and appears to be striving after two days. This plant is exactly what it says on the tin, and it's fantastic.
I wasn't thrilled with the end result at first because a lot of the moss was brown and I had to cut it. But after 1,5 months, my tree is nearly perfect, and the moss is extremely healthy and attractive.
High-quality, reusable plastic cups with insulation were used to package the product. Snail-friendly foods I was surprised to find that it was completely free and had more volume than I had anticipated. Overall, this is an excellent product that has enhanced the appearance of my new tank.
I'll just echo the sentiments of others. You will receive a nice green moss ball of reasonable size. Definitely three times the price of those pre-packaged little moss bags found in big box pet stores. Mine came with a heat pack and was packaged in a sturdy cup, and best of all, it was completely green. It's not half-dead like the pre-packaged stuff at the big pet stores.
The fertilizer and CO2 in my new setup are working well for it. I have nothing negative to say.
