That's exactly what I've done, and it's working for me. It's more like the plant's little shoots, which aren't spreading yet. Make sure it gets plenty of light as well!

I've had this moss before and it grows beautifully. However, don't expect the lush, full plant depicted in the photo. Although the size (3x3) is correct, the thickness was nowhere near what was expected. I think I could make a quarter of what is shown if I put everything together.
It didn't resemble the image at all! The moss hairs were few and far between. It was incredibly daring. Rather than moss, there is more empty space. The money spent was not well spent.
The amount of moss on the screen wasn't too much to handle. Because it is so thin, you can see right through it.
When I first bought it, everything was in working order. I put it in my tank and it's now turning brown and doesn't appear to be growing after a few weeks. I'm hoping things improve, but if they don't, I won't be buying from this person again.
I placed an order for two of these plants. They arrived in good condition and appear to be in good health. There is no odor to them. I'm not sure if my fish don't like these plants because they aren't devouring them. They look nice in the tank, and I'm hoping they'll spread out and cover more of the bottom.
It measures at least an inch in height. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. It received the highest possible rating from me. Now, I'm wishing there weren't so many sharp wires protruding from all sides.
Excellent work!.
These are fantastic for the aquaria's bottom. I purchased one for each of my 5 gallon betta tanks. With regular aquarium lights, they're exploding in size.
