Questions & Answers
Yes, as long as the roots are kept moist.
A thick plastic planter with no holes, I believe, would be suitable. Paint the outside of a five gallon mixing container from Menards just for the sake of appearances.
Mangroves aren't something I know a lot about. Because the ones I received have a lot of roots, some caution should be exercised when inserting them into live rock to avoid damaging them. I'm guessing you have a lot of light coming in from above. They're easy to use and come with clear instructions. They suggest making styrofoam floats, which I found to be extremely difficult to work with - They can cast an obtrusive shade and, in my experience, are prone to tipping over.
I'm not sure if I have them in my saltwater fish tank, but there's no reason why I shouldn't.

Seven healthy seedlings with leaves and roots were delivered, all of which were roughly the same length and maturity. They were in such good condition that I decided to put them in my main saltwater display tank, which I'm glad I did because they look great. This purchase has exceeded my expectations; if I could, I would give it six stars. br>br>Recent changes - All seven mangroves are still doing well four months after purchase. The roots have doubled in size (at the very least), and all of the shoots are producing healthy leaves. Fish like to swim around the roots, and hermit crabs like to climb them. About 3" of the tops should grow out of the top of the aquarium, giving the entire setup a very unique look. I had persistent, frustrating, and time-consuming nitrate issues prior to adding these Mangroves, regardless of how often I changed the water. Nitrate levels began to drop within a month of adding these, and have now been undetectable for the past three months. To date, this has been my favorite purchase for my one-year-old display tank, for both aesthetics and water quality maintenance, and at a much lower cost than any type of filtering equipment. I am a very satisfied customer, and I strongly advise you to use it because of the numerous advantages I have listed above.
Three of the five have excellent root growth and all have leaves. I'm using mine in a hoodless Axolotl tank, and I'm not using the recommended 'float with styro-polymer' method. a set of foam I did, however, suspend them in a tank. If I need to rely on directions, I'll have to wait and see:.
Arrival: br>Products were well-packaged to keep moisture in and protect the hairs on the root systems. A 72-hour shipping heat pack was also included, which was still warm when unboxed. Inspection: br>Inspection: br>Inspection: br>Inspection br>The specimens arrived in excellent condition, far exceeding my expectations in terms of growth stage consistency and overall health.
Use: These propagules were purchased as a means of nutrient export for my 55 gallon reef tank at home. br>Advice: Even though the seller claims that rinsing isn't necessary, I would recommend that you do so with whatever water you plan to keep them in. The loss of a few root hairs during shipping is unavoidable, and the fewer organics we use, the more likely this is. The rest is history.
They're doing fine, and they're meeting the requirements of the question. I was able to request seedlings grown in freshwater in one section, which was fantastic! Anyone interested in starting a mangrove aquarium should definitely check out this seller and these seedlings!.
It's been a long time since I've contacted a seller who responded promptly and quickly resolved an issue. It wasn't a matter of quality; it was simply a case of Mother Nature refusing to let go of winter in the north! Great mangroves and an excellent seller!.
They were larger than I anticipated (in the past, I've ordered from other places and the ball died after a week or two). These are doing exceptionally well. Climbing is a favorite pastime of my fiddlers. br>br>In my substrate, I do have root tabs. If this is of any assistance to anyone. It's a Brackish aquarium, to be precise. Couldn't be more pleased! br>br>.
It was better than I had anticipated. Service is prompt, and the trees are of excellent quality. Thank you very much. The cost is also reasonable. If you're looking for a unique way to.
So far, everything has gone well. I've had these plants in my sump for a while, and they're starting to sprout new leaves. I've had no problems with any of the ones I've gotten in. The roots were lovely, as were the plants.
