The size is 1/2", that is exactly what they are.
The official measurements seem to be a bit off, but I have measured one and it is closer to 0 than it ever was. The diameter of the sphere is 5 inches.
As my hydrangeas are in a vase of bamboo, I do not know, but on Amazon, the shipping weight is just under 13 ounces and that is the amount I believe it should be.
The chances of that happening are slim. Still, they are made of glass and may shatter or break.

Their light is attractive and it casts well through them. I started filling a glass jar that used to hold coins with mine. One of the most surprising things about these marbles is how little space they occupy. The 11. 2 gallon jug would require 10 bags of marbles or 1,000 marbles to fill it 34 percent to the top. As long as it's 100, I'll be happy.
A handful is all it's worth. The size and quality of the images vary. The news is not so good. However, the colour is really pretty. Beads of glass in Aqua color. What a magical sight! Displaying a crystal vase with them was my way of using them. I love it. They were inside a bag that prevented each glass drop from damaging themselves.
