There is a scam going on here! It is difficult to believe that they are tiny pieces of glass and they look nothing like the picture they were advertised as! I can't believe the picture of the beads in the description that are being held can be so deceptive! Thanks for making it so I've got to return all three bags now.
The decorative aquarium glass in this set is really nice. In terms of quantity, if you plan to use it as a substrate, you're going to be disappointed. I believe you will be very happy with it if you're utilizing it as a decorative element in addition to a substrate. It seems like there is a 1 in 10 chance In the bag are 5 cups.
At the same time that I ordered this, I also purchased three bags of aquarium glass from a major chain pet store online. Pet store bags cost half as much as those from online vendors, but were a third as big, and had larger pieces that arrived absolutely filthy (I barely observed the product through the dirt stuck to the bags). Throughout this glass there was a lack of dirt and dust in spots. It is packaged well, and the aquarium glass pieces are super fine compared to all the other aquarium glass I've seen for sale, offering a beautiful, jewel-like appearance You can see how the tank looks like. The color and contrast it provides in a shrimp tank is exactly what I was looking for when I bought it to add to argontote sand. This is an excellent value for the price, maybe not when thinking of it as an assortment of little glass drops, but if viewed in that manner it is a solid buy. If you compare it with similar aquarium supplies on the market, this is undoubtedly the best.
You are not going to find beads or marbles on it. This product page contains only grains of sand. They deserve a lot of shame!.
I was not pleased with how tiny the beads were, they were unsuitable for a 20 gallon aquarium. It is great to be back.
Awful product, the bag came open when it arrived. There were rocks that were like sand, so I sent them.
