Do you know of a way to replace the filter without disturbing the ceramic Is it not falling in the area once the filter is taken off?

Some media will fall into the trap, and that is not to be avoided. Over the past five years, I got tired of the hassle of cleaning my biorb tank. To replace the baby biorb, I bought a Topfin tank that holds 3 1/2 gallons and There is no longer an issue with 'falling media' because the filters are located at the top of the tank.

What should I do if the Biorb has become very cloudy? Would replacing all the media address this issue?

A cloudy sky would be a particle. How long has it been since you changed your filter cartridges? It is a good place to start if not. Replacing it every month or two is a good idea. the tank is big and there are few fish in it.) If the fish are very poopy, such as goldfish, you need to change it more regularly. When is the last time you changed the water? You should not make any changes unless you increase your budget by 10 to 20 percent. Put it into practice. What is the current level in your tank? If there is an imbalance, doing the above is important. How long has it been since you changed the water? You should keep it out of the sun and only leave it on for short periods of time everyday. A majority of the bacteria living in rocks are good bacteria. It's like starting your aquarium all over again from the beginning, but now you have fish in it. It is safe to say that your rocks should be good for at least a year or two depending on how much bioload you have in Clearing the water with Seachem can remove particles, for instance if you didn't rinse the stones and the dust on them is causing them to cloud over. However, it is not a fix for aquariums that require regular water changes and filters. You might want to take some of your water to your local petsmart or petco and ask them to give you some feedback.

I was a little disappointed with the size of the bag, but the colors are amazing
4/5

It was the first time I removed them from the bag and tried them. The Biorb tank which I used came with pebbles. I purchased these to replace them. I was a little disappointed with the size of the bag, but the colors are amazing. After washing for 3 or 4 minutes, I took the cloths out of the bag In a bowl, pour hot running water on them and leave them for 4 minutes to help them rise up. My reason for replacing them was that I read they should help increase the presence of good bacteria in my tank, which should extend the tank's life. It seems to me that I need more than 2 lbs of rocks to fill my 8 gallon biorb because I can still see a few places where I need more From a quarter to a dime, each rock is different in size. Although the color of these is different than what I expected, they appear to do their It reminds me of lime stone Once I have done a follow up review in a few more months, I will let everyone know how the program is There are a few photos to help my fellow biorb lovers out there if they are still on the fence about getting this product. If you are leaning towards the 1lb vs 2lb, I would highly recommend.

My opinion is that I wouldn't buy it Although the pieces were a good size, it didn't occur to me that they would be jagged
4/5

It may not be a good idea to use them as pet gravel due to their sensitivity. The coverage of a 2 lb bag is thin for a 5 oz. A rectangular aquarium with a capacity of 5 gallons.

It is disappointing to see the media size
3/5

At the time of this purchase, my normal supplier was out of ceramic media, but I was in need of replacement media, so I kept the This product only received a two star rating from me since too many pieces were rather small, plus there were too many tiny bits. threw the pebbles away just in case my water filter became jammed by the pebbles. When I order from my normal supplier next time, I will order twice the amount, but I won't buy these products.
