Questions & Answers

The following is what I ordered: Has anyone else ordered this size and received four separate packs of 51 each?

You'll get a total of 51 treats, divided into four packs of 13 each. They are adored by our dogs.

What is the duration of these treats? For our mini dachshunds, I'm trying to decide between the large and small. Thank you very much for your assistance! ?

The toy/small size has a length of 57 to 62 millimeters.

Is it true that only the "fresh" ones can aid in the treatment of bad breath?

No, bad breath isn't the only issue. After each of my chi's two daily meals, she gets one. Her dentist is enamored with her healthy gums and teeth.

What is the bone length for a medium-sized dog?

5- Toy/Small Treats for Dogs are what I use. 20lbs. These are 2 1/2 " in length. They also have Toy/Small and Medium Dogs, ranging in size from 5 to 15 pounds. I'm not sure how long these are because I've never used them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Favorite Dog Treats "WARNING: WILL RESULT IN EXTREME BEGGING
5/5

" My three rug rats are already spoiled, so I decided to give them a different kind of treat out of guilt. I felt I needed to give them a snack that was good for them so I wouldn't feel so bad. So, being a good doggie mommy, I got these dental chews and was delighted that they weren't as expensive as their "toothbrush" shaped counterpart brand. If I only had one little monster, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the more expensive brand, but because we have three little snack bandits, I went with the less expensive brand. br>br> I was delighted to see them naw their way into doggie ecstasy. Even my pickiest four-pound eater couldn't say no to these green snacks. They now beg for their hard-earned "Halloween haul" every morning, like children. It reminds me of catnip for dogs or- These highly sought-after treats are referred to by my husband as "doggie crack. " The size is ideal for my four-year-old princess, my six-year-old honey badger, and even my thirteen-year-old rowdy boy, who enjoys the Treat despite the fact that he only gets two bites. Because we had "mutiny" the first time we ordered and ran out, I had to add a subscription for delivery every four weeks to ensure we didn't run out. The price is correct, as is the value.

Exceptionally effective at preventing dental disease (even when genetics are taken into account)
5/5

For the past 12 years, I've been using this product. Clean teeth are less likely to develop dental problems, and dental problems are less likely to worsen. Brush their teeth daily if you want to speed up the cleaning process, but I don't have time with 6 rescues. The 13 chihuahua came with pre-existing dental damage, whereas my 55 Husky had none when we got her at 8 minutes. The Chihuahua's dental health is now in tip-top shape, while the Husky's is 12 years old. It's not difficult to have one small treat before bedtime when there's nothing else to eat. If you want to speed up the cleaning or something, you could give a size-appropriate treat, but I didn't notice a difference in results when I bought three packages of various sizes vs the Family Pack of the Tiny size. One of my rescue dogs is a chihuahua terrier with bad teeth. He is five years old, and his parents had to have their teeth extracted when he was five years old. His teeth aren't as white and gleaming, but they're not on the verge of being extracted or professionally cleaned. So, even if genetics is a factor, these can still be beneficial (his teeth do need to be brushed on a regular basis).

OK, they're not perfect, and I'm not convinced that any dental chews actually help with cleaning, but they seem to be the least bad, so I gave them five stars
5/5

Despite the fact that she has no bad breath, I've used both Original and Fresh. My 3-year-old Cavalier seems to prefer the Original, but they have such a strong scent that she begs for her dental chew at 8 p. m. every night. 30 years old, and would be devastated if the ritual were to come to an end. I'd prefer if they were less than 20 calories (toy/small size) and if the blue/yellow dyes were removed, but at the very least they show added vitamins. Next, I'm thinking about trying the Beef flavor. I brush her teeth at least three times a week, but it's difficult because she only has 15 seconds of attention span. I've also recently begun using PetzLife oral care gel on a weekly basis. I'm mostly trying to avoid tarter so she doesn't have to go under for a professional cleaning.

These have to be the best thing to happen to humanity since sliced bread
5/5

These things excite my dogs to no end. I believe they worked on cleaning their teeth, but I can't comment on their breath. I had the VID before they arrived, so I can't tell you how bad it is or isn't. Lucky me! br>These were literally life and death for the oldest dog. Constantly begging for a treat and lying in front of the counter in the hopes that someone would notice him and give him one. After 20 minutes of whining, he collapsed as if he'd died because he couldn't have one right away. This was what he lived for. The younger one didn't seem to mind until the bag was about to open, at which point he would charge through the house like it was on fire to get to them. Eventually, the older dog persuaded the younger one to whine. He's a little more obnoxious about it than the rest of them. He'd yank on your leg, whine and yip until you got out of your chair, then skip down the hall to the older dog, acting like "Look what I did!" " "They prefer me more! UGH! br>Eventually, I had to cut them off cold turkey and blame the older dog; he still thinks there are some on the counter and that I'm being a nag by not giving them to him. However, after a month, he begins to suspect that they are no longer present. According to the family, these have a minty scent. When you've had them for a while, I recommend adding a piece of bread to the bag because they tend to harden and the bread keeps them chewable. To keep the bag fresh, we also placed it inside another zipper bag.

Update: My new senior dog has diarrhea as a result of it
3/5

Update 9/6/21: After a month of using VetIQ Minties, her teeth are now completely clean. There is no plaque! They're a little more expensive than other brands, but considering the cost of doggy dental care, they're well worth it! br>br>My dog is a rescue and is about ten years old. She's a mix of Llasa Apso and Chihuahua, as well as the other 55 dogs that make up a Heinze 57 dog. She's a pound and a half. br>br>04/2620 is the most recent update. I have a new senior dog, and after giving her one of these every day for two weeks, she still has diarrhea. The diarrhea stopped when I stopped giving them to her. And in the time that I've had these to her, her teeth have turned yellow. br>br>Because they were non-returnable, I contacted Amazon and informed them of my dog's diarrhea problem. I got my money back from Amazon. I'm going to donate them to the local humane society. br>br>When I first opened the package, I was a little concerned because these were extremely hard. I have a senior dog who has not-yet-diagnosed Alzheimer's disease. teeth in excellent condition I was worried they'd be too difficult for her, but she seems to enjoy them. They don't make her bleed, and they keep her breath smelling fresh all day. br>br>I tried another popular brand that was twice as expensive, but she preferred these, so the other one was returned to me. br>br>I only need one or two of these per day to keep my dog's mouth in good shape. br>br>The vet wanted to put her under every year to clean her teeth, but I believe it is too dangerous for her at her age. Hopefully, she'll be able to keep her teeth and gums healthy for a few more years with these.
