My dog died of a major intestinal blockage after consuming these. This is not something you should give your dog. Always go for natural products and avoid anything that contains rawhide!!.
It's such a pity. I thought I was getting a good deal on chews made in the United States of America. MADE IN CHINA, as well as the expiration date, are stamped on the package. I should have known something was wrong when I saw a mark on the back of the package that said "Treated By Irradiation. " After all of the recalls and pet deaths, I'm not sure I can trust treats anymore. It is not worth it to jeopardize my friend's health. When I informed Amazon of this, they promptly issued a refund; however, I hope they update the product description so that other customers are aware.
Oh no, my dog had to be taken to the ER. The red rawhide center was yanked from his throat. The remainder was thrown away. Thankfully, my yorkies are in good health.
Hey, guys, this product is actually made in China, as evidenced by the photo I'm uploading. br>br>On the back, it does not say Virginia, but it is made in China. br>br>Don't get me wrong, it's a great deal, but I don't think anyone should put their pet in danger because it's not stated that it's made in China. br>br>It's fine for electronic devices and the like, but you can't replace an animal like a phone when it comes to your pet's health. br>br>I called Amazon a few minutes ago, and the woman agreed that she wouldn't give it to her dog, either. I also sent it to Amazon customer service to inform them that it was made in China. br>br>You have to look very closely to see it because it's stamped almost as if it's attempting to hide. br>br>Again, if you're okay with your pet getting a product from China, it's a great deal; however, who knows what's in it, and I'm not willing to risk it. br>br>Hopefully, Amazon will require the vendor to write "made in China" in bold on the product because I believe many people would refuse to purchase it if they knew. br>br>I was caught off guard when I saw Amazon shipping and selling soft Virginia. br>br>I'll keep you updated as soon as Amazon responds.
I sent them to my best friend in Hawaii for her dog's birthday, and thankfully, I was able to reach her before she fed them to her dog. This could have been very embarrassing if she hadn't been my best friend.
All other stars are deducted for deceptive marketing and posing a risk to pets; my dog enjoys the "kabob" portion. br>These treats are made in China, but you'll have to look hard to find it on the package (it's stamped on with the expiration date). I had no idea because the company address on the package was in Virginia. br>I couldn't figure out why my vivacious mini Dachshund wasn't feeling well for the past week. We ran out of these treats two days ago, and she's suddenly back to normal. When I took the package out of the trash, I noticed the label from China. While I believe this company has good intentions, China's glycerin is made from Biodiesel compounds, which have been shown to be extremely toxic to humans and animals in small amounts. The contents should suffice to prevent the use of words like "healthy, wholesome, etc. " on the package. Profits, on the other hand, take precedence over morality. br>Each dog is unique, and their reactions will vary. I won't be buying these or any other treats made with this glycerin (diesel) again.
Be wary of the buyer!.
The little "nubs" were soft enough for your dog to easily chew off, so I bought them in a smaller bag from Publix. I bought these because I needed a bigger bag. The "nubs," which were supposed to be soft, were as hard as rocks. I returned to Publix and bought a small bag of the same product, which was of better quality this time. These are current, but due to a problem with the seller, they are extremely stale.
