It was stale goods that I received. Every month I receive a new batch of samples since I am subscribed to it. It's a bit disappointing that there's a consistency issue with this product. As you can see in the pictures, one of the packages (on the left) is fresh and smells like a good treat, but the one on the right smells like a toy. I missed that. This has happened to me with other True Chews products as well. There is no way to tell if it is their fault or Amazon's. I won't be buying Trye Chews any time soon.
Due to the first glance at the bags, I am only giving one star. There is no need to explain. This one is older than the other one on the left. It's been stored the same way, no changes at all and the left bag is moldy and rotten. They are loved by my dog so much that I sent a package of dog treats to my sister for her pet, and she raved about the treats as well. These treats are said to be her dog's favorite.
