Questions & Answers

For a 25-pound, 6-month-old English bulldog, what is the best greenie size?

I have two dogs, one of which is 25 pounds and the other is 50 pounds. Greenies in the "regular" size are what I buy. I give one whole Greenie to my big dog and half a Greenie to my small dog. I only do this once a week as a special treat for them, and they adore it!

Greenies are made in the United States, right?

Kansas City, Missouri is the home of GREENIESĀ® Canine Dental Chews. br>I've been buying Greenies for years because my Bichon Frises, who keep me company, have dental problems, and Greenies are a lifesaver! Regular vet dental checkups are also beneficial, and the Greenies have reduced the number of dental cleanings required for my breed.
P. This question piqued my interest because I was unaware that NUTRO Pet Foods had purchased the company. So I emailed them to inquire whether all of the ingredients are sourced in the United States or if they are imported from elsewhere. I might re-import if I find out it was imported. ponder my dedication to this product, despite the fact that it does help my dog's teeth - @* is a concept I abhor. In my dog's food, there's stuff from China!

What kind of greenies are these?

Thank you very much for your query. Kansas City, Missouri is where our GREENIESĀ® Canine Dental Chews are made.

One of the dogs weighs 18 pounds, while the other weighs 22 pounds. I don't want them to gain weight as a result of the treats. Is it better to go with the Petite or the Teenie?

I'm the proud owner of a Westie. I chose the 15 to 25 pound dog for him because he's 17 pounds. The Petite was delivered on time. He chokes, so I'm not going to be able to use them. I purchased the Teenies in the hopes of receiving the correct ones, but the 15 to 25 would be better. They are devoured by my Westie.

There will be no more booty breath from here on out
5/5

I have a peculiar personality. a cross between a dachshund and a yorkie She's so cute. My baby. I care for her as if she were my child, and I'm willing to cut someone to keep her safe. I know I'm crazy, but she's SO ADORABLE, and her eyes are so soulful, and she's just so wicked smart; I've never had a dog like her, and she reminds me of a Dean Koontz character. Anyways. br>br>As much as I adore her, I'm not a fan of her breath smelling like a private part of her body. There are at least a half-dozen areas that should not be discussed. I've tried everything there is to try- various treats, bones, and even the stuff you put in water (she's too smart to realize I spiked her water and won't drink it). br>br>So I gave these Greenies a shot. They are adored by her. And her breath improved 100% after about a week of having one every day. I don't want to gag now when she yawns from across the couch. I'm no longer bothered if she wakes me up with a single puppy kiss. This is fantastic. I'm thinking about giving some to my brother to see if it can help him breathe better as well.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT My Parson Russell Terrier became very sick, with bloody stool and vomit, and I was at a loss as to what to do because I feared I wouldn't be able to keep my beloved pet for much longer
3/5

I went to the veterinarian with her. Pancreatitis, a rare disease, was discovered in her system. Put her on a low-fat diet consisting solely of cottage cheese, boiled rice, boiled chicken, and boiled potatoes. She, my dog, was on the mend after a few days. I gave her a greenie without realizing it was the cause because she was being so good and eating such a bland diet. She became ill again after 12 hours, and I knew she couldn't lose any more weight, so I took her to the vet. They put her on an IV drip for 12 hours, and she recovered fine, much better. br>I was talking to my next-door neighbor Lynn about my dog and her pancreatitis problem. Lynn informed me that she had recently had surgery on her puppy. Pancreatitis is another condition associated with the same. Lynn informed me that the Vet was unavailable. An obstruction had to be removed from her dog, which required surgery. The Vet. It was a Greenie that had become lodged in the dog's intestines, she was told. Oh my GOD, and these As'"holes are selling a product that can kill dogs. I got sick from it! br>There will be no GREENIES, and my dog will be fine. AN ITEM LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT BE SOLD ON AMAZON! Please read the REVIEWS if you haven't already.

BUYING IS A MISTAKE
3/5

I began giving these to my dog once a day, and he began acting strangely, as if he wanted to go out all the time, and he began having accidents in the house, despite the fact that he is an 8-year-old dog. So basically, this product caused my dog to either have a dry mouth, requiring him to drink more water, or it caused some kind of bladder problem, causing him to be unable to hold his pee, so I gathered from this that there's some kind of chemical in there that is causing these issues, which is definitely not good for him. I strongly advise you not to purchase this product.

Within a few days of giving one to each of my two dogs, After giving one to each of my two dogs, they became violently ill and had to be hospitalized within 24 hours
3/5

I had no idea what was going on until I remembered this was the only difference, so I looked it up and found over 100 cases of dogs being hospitalized or dying as a result of these exact treats! I'm surprised they're still in operation. My dogs are doing fine now that they've been treated, but I'll never give them another greenie product. I'm hoping Amazon will no longer allow these to be sold.

I purchased the 60 count Petite Size (15-count) and received poor customer service
3/5

Dogs weighing less than 25 pounds). There were two zip-top bags in the box. Treats should be kept in zip-lock bags. The first few were tough, and it took a long time for my dog to chew and swallow one. This, I thought, was a good thing because it meant she had to work harder on her teeth. br>br>The chews have become rubbery and soft despite the fact that I have kept the bag closed. They don't seem to be doing much to help her teeth, to be honest. I'm not sure if they've gone bad or not. Is it okay to give them to my dog now? br>br>I visited Greenies. com, and inquired about the treats via their contact form. They haven't responded at all. What good is it to have a form for customers to fill out if they aren't going to fill it out? I'm giving these the lowest possible rating because their consistency has changed in just a few days, and the manufacturer hasn't responded to my complaints. Customer service is available.

Be careful who you buy from
3/5

My dog had an intestinal blockage and had to go to the vet after a week. This is a common occurrence with these chews, according to the veterinarian. Because the chews are so dense, they should be chewed thoroughly. If your dog does not take the time to chew them thoroughly (as most dogs do), it may become stuck in their system.

These were a big hit with both dogs
5/5

Greenies were a Greenies ADDICT for my 14-year-old lab/chow, who recently passed away. I'm not kidding when I say that not much else could get him this excited when he was 14 years old. I was afraid he'd have a heart attack because his eyes would get big, he'd pace around, and he'd start panting profusely. Since he was a puppy, we'd been giving him Greenies. His teeth were incredible. She couldn't believe his age when we took him to a new veterinarian. He had the teeth of a half-breed dog, she claimed. We never had to have him cleaned by a professional. I started getting the smaller size for him so that we could give him more of them because he was so excited. br>br>These are also a favorite of my other four-year-old dog. We order them on a monthly basis, which has turned into a costly habit, but that doesn't bother me. My other dog's long life can be attributed to his daily Greenie habit, at least in part. "Would you like a greenie?" is also amusing. ", she exclaims, her face lit up with delight.
