When I let her chew on it, I find she does so for a long time. My approach is to take it from her and give it to her for about 30 minutes, then let her rest for a while. These were a gift for my 7 month old beagle puppy because he chews a lot. It was so exciting to see his face last night when we offered him one. After having diarrhea three times last night (around 10pm, 11pm, and 2am), he was not feeling well. His diarrhea is still present this morning a regular pooping habit, it's been almost 4 months since he had to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. My best wishes go out to him as he recuperates.
