It had become difficult to get a pound terrier/maltese rescue dog to eat because she was so used to getting sick after eating. Various chews and biscuits are included in this category. She's turned down a plethora of treats. She'll occasionally eat one or two new treats we bring home, but she quickly loses interest, which pleases our young lab mix, who is happy to swoop in and eat any treat that is left on the ground for even a brief moment. These Blue Buffalo trail treats (specifically, the salmon biscuits) are a different story altogether. She adores Salmon Biscuit Trail Treats to the point of obsession. We're in the process of reorganizing our operations. ordering- She's been getting one or a portion of one every day and doesn't appear to be getting tired of them. It's wonderful to see her get excited about food and take her prize treat to a corner, where she can hide it from the lab while she devours it. I can easily break one in half for her because they're not too difficult. They're slightly larger than a square inch and slightly thicker than a half-inch. When she's not interested in a meal, I can sneak a few pieces into her food to get her to try it. They're also a hit with our lab. However, he is enthusiastic about eating carpet. There's also litter for cats. Pine cones are also present. For some, his support may be deemed insufficient.
I will NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT AGAIN; they are putting their customers in danger!.
Due to my dog's allergy to chicken, I had to return them.
They're a bit drier and denser than you might expect. When you pick them up dry, they don't crumble, but they do feel stale and you should check the date. (However, it is not expired. ) May 2018 is the end of the period. ) My dogs generally enjoy them, but they aren't as enthusiastic about them as they are about other treats we buy. They're a little small, so bigger dogs might get a few throughout the day (my 80 ponder gets one after each potty break, for a total of three). Smaller dogs may be fine with just one per day (my 20-pounder gets one before bedtime). I purchased the salmon as well as the bayou alligator. There were a few broken treats and crumbs, which was to be expected to some extent due to shipping. Although there were more crumbs than I'd like or expect to see (about 30% of the bag was crumbs and small broken pieces), I like this brand, but due to the dryness, I would only buy it again if I found a great deal.
The first four ingredients in the regular grain-free biscuit I buy are Pea Flour, Chicken Meal, Pork Meal, and Pea Protein, whereas the first four ingredients in BLUE Wilderness are Turkey, Chicken Meal, Potato, and Chicken Fat. Also, at 30% vs 25% and more Fat at 15% vs 6% and less Fiber at 3, the BW has more Protein at 30% vs 25% and more Fat at 15% vs 6% and less Fi 5% vs 5. 5%. The fact that turkey is listed first is appealing to me. However, I am almost two-thirds of the way there. For the price of one BW bag, you get four 8-pound bags. So I subscribe to Subscribe and Save and buy one bag every month, but I save these for special occasions. They don't break as easily as most biscuits, however. I can take pictures in about 60% of the time - Alternatively, they may simply disintegrate into small fragments. My dog weighs 75 pounds, so they're even too big for her when they're whole. She usually bites it, letting some fall out, then licking it up, which is a bit messy. I couldn't tell if my dog preferred these to the others because she eats everything. But it makes me feel better that I was able to provide her with a higher-quality item.
For one of these, Puppy will fold my clothes and wash my car. These treats are a big hit with the puppy. When I'm even a few feet away from the treat jar, she'll do anything 'good. ' When I tap the jar and ask her, "Were you good today?" she gives me the sweetest GSD expression. Uh? Was it true that you were a good girl? "You're darn right I was!" she says, shaking her head as if nodding. "br>br>She seemed unconcerned about the old treats we used to give her. She'd eat them, but she wouldn't be particularly enthusiastic about it. They were treated as if they were nothing more than filler. She's now keeping an eye out for the human approaching the treat jar. It's got to be fantastic!.
Because my dog Leo suffers from severe grain allergies, I'm thrilled that he enjoys these treats. They're grain-free and made with real ingredients like duck, chicken meal, potatoes, and stuffing. They don't contain any byproduct meal, which can cause serious health problems in some dogs. We tried a few different brands, but they all resulted in digestive issues as well as other health issues. I adore the fact that I can give him a treat without fear of him breaking out in a rash! They're a hit with him, and we're thrilled to be able to give them to him! He's also had a lot more energy since switching to this brand, is a lot more playful again, and his coat has been absolutely gorgeous and shiny. He's a stunning dog, and this brand only adds to his appeal!.
Despite the fact that our Shih Tzu's teeth have been removed, she still enjoys crunching on kibble and treats. She has been on a wheat-free and other allergy-free diet due to her sensitive constitution, which includes stomach and skin problems. Her food is chicken-based, so I chose this turkey-flavored treat, which she seems to prefer over the last bag of small treats she finished. To be honest, this dog doesn't get many treats; in fact, she only gets one in the morning after I force an antihistamine down her throat. With the open bag on the floor and the patient dog facing the bag (and me), I break one of these biscuits into two pieces, sometimes three or four if they haven't crumbled too much. She then performs a small trick in order to receive the treat, which she happily consumes. I can only assume she enjoys the treats because she licks the floor afterwards. They crumble a lot, which I don't like, but they're also very dry. I'm also dissatisfied with the bag's seal, which isn't perfect. I'm going to put them in a different airtight container.
