As a mom of three, this is perfect for my sons, 2, 3 and 5 There is currently a cat who is four years old. The process takes a little longer and I have to be a little more patient. Secondly, make sure they find that treat that makes them want to go to all lengths! Cheers to your success!
This method has helped my friend train her cat to allow her to do things like clipping his nails - she uses it on a daily basis. Things that most cats do not want to have It's possible for training to have an impact on behavior issues if the training is consistent.
I bought it for my daughter when she was in vet school and she loves it. After becoming a feline vet, she says this is a great book and highly recommends it to her clients.

The author of this book has a great understanding of the subject and makes reading fun. By clicking on them, I have taught my cats to give kisses and come when called. However, they were able to kiss in no time at all I wish I had more time to teach them. Within a day, they learned how to do it. There is no need to plan anything elaborate just find treats your cat enjoys (we have two cats that devour freeze-dried chicken treats like "pure bites"). Additionally, I would definitely go for the clicker that comes with it. The book is not sold in every pet store, so it would be quite a challenge to locate one after receiving it (or you may not want to spend the time going to the pet Upon receiving the package, you can begin as soon as possible. Our first clicker went missing so we had to purchase an additional one. Since we don't want the cats to wander too far from the house (and they are inside the house at night) the clicker has proven invaluable in getting the cats to come running inside if they are lost. For that reason alone, this book is well worth the money!.
There wasn't much I liked about this product. Even though the book was very helpful when it came to telling us what we can teach our cats, it was not helpful at teaching us how to train them. It was gross to eat the treats. My favorite part of the experience was getting a good clicker and getting some ideas for when I can start teaching my kitten new skills. It would seem I'll have to go onto YouTube to find out exactly how to train my cat.
After purchasing and reading the information, I decided to purchase. There was very little interest among my cats, and then we all lost interest. I think we'd like to see a DVD instead.
A bunch of clickers are available on Amazon for 6 bucks and the book for just under $13 individually. There is something wrong with this. I am returning it There's no electricity.
It is an endless amount of possibilities as far as this is concerned. I have been encouraged by everything that is being described so far. Even if I don't accomplish much more than the basics, I hope to succeed in them.
My cat will never jump through a hoop, but he and I are both having fun and he is even getting closer to using his cat carrier! Taking this whole new approach to training cats is much easier because most of us have no idea how to train such animals.
Despite the thinness of the book, it is packed with valuable tips for training cats. There is more emphasis on actual training to get your cats to behave.
