This is a purchase that I am pleased with. br>br>It reminds me of my Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bags because it has so many pockets. A roll of poop bags fits in the side pocket, as you can see. With a new roll, it's a little tight, but it does the job. My clicker is tucked into the other side pocket with ease. br>br>If I squeeze my Samsung S3 into the back zippered pocket, it will fit. It could also be stuffed into the front Velcro pocket (which isn't closed). br>br>I like how the top of the bag has a magnetic closure. The dog is completely oblivious to the fact that the door has been opened. It doesn't close automatically, but it's simple to do so with a tap of the hand, and the main pouch is quite large. For my small dog, it was way more than I needed. The Velcro-closed inner pocket is quite large and has a Velcro closure. br>br>The bag is quite large, but it sits flat against my hip, making it unobtrusive; mine came with a nylon belt, which I haven't used yet but plan to use in the future to tether the dog leash to me. br>br>It appears to be sturdy, but I haven't used it yet. I am a professional dog trainer who has used a few of the available bags. This treat bag and the Petsafe brand treat bag, in my opinion, are the only two treat bags in competition. There are some distinctions. br>br>Bag shape and size: br>br>When training dogs, speed is crucial, as other reviewers have stated. Because the PS bag is so large, I found that in order to get treats out of it, I either had to fill it almost to the brim, which meant adding far more treats than I would ever use in one (or two) training sessions, or I had to put a small bowl in the bag to keep the treats closer to the opening. br>br>The fact that the Petsafe bag has square corners adds to the problem. I found myself putting a lot of treats in the corners so they'd be accessible, but by the time I got there, not only would I have to work to get the treats out because they'd be stuck, but if I was using soft treats (which I usually do), they'd be mush by the time I got there. I solved this problem by placing a small bowl inside the pouch once more. This appears to be an odd hack to have to use in order to get the bag to work. br>br>The DG bag is large enough for me to store the usual amount of treats I'd use in a single training session while still having easy access to them. There are no corners where soft treats can become stuck or mushed, and I can easily remove the last few treats. This is also important when cleaning because with the DG bags, I can simply dump the treats out and clean the bag, whereas with the Petsafe bag, I struggled to get stuff out of the corners and wash it. Opening: br>br> br>br>The Doggone Good bag has a magnetic closure, whereas the Petsafe bag has a spring-loaded closure for quick opening and closing. Each style is distinct. br>br> The Doggone bag does not keep its shape when opened, but this is not a major issue for me. The snap closure, on the other hand, provides a nice wide opening, but your treats are also accessible to the dogs, and if you forget to close the enclosure and bend over, your treats may fall to the ground. To me, this is a matter of personal preference, but I prefer the DG bag because it has a "default" closed opening. br>br>In comparison to other bags on the market, the DG opening is average, while the PS bag's opening is large. If you have large hands, this makes a big difference. If you do, despite its flaws, I would recommend the PS bag. The DG bag is ripstop, and I've had no complaints in 7 months of heavy use. The PS bag is no longer in use, but it appears to be well made. br>br>Additional Information: br>br>The DG bag has two clips and four extra pockets, including one inside the pouch for clickers or other treats, two side pouches, one of which has a slot for dispensing bags, and one inside the pouch for clickers or other treats. I have a friend who is also a professional dog handler who uses it as a hip pack for personal and dog items, so I think it's pretty versatile, though I don't use the clips. The PS bag comes with an additional pocket, a clip, and elastic straps. I don't use the clips, and I'm not sure what the elastic straps were supposed to be used for. I tried putting my clicker in it, and it worked, but it was awkward; I prefer the DG bag's pockets for holding a clicker. br>br>I recommend wearing a belt instead of the belt clip with either bag.

I used this pouch to train my horses. It appeals to me. I noticed a lot of reviews said it was too big, but I needed a large fanny pack or treat pouch, and this fit the bill perfectly: lots of pockets, plenty of room for apples and carrots. I can fit my smart phone in the back zipper pocket, and for added security, I keep my phone in the pouch while on a trail ride; yes, it's quite comfortable even on horseback! Because the magnetic closer prevented a young horse from picking my pockets for treats, he grabbed the pouch and lifted me off the ground while it was attached to my belt loops! It's made of very strong material, and I've been using it for months with no problems; I also have a dog who is obsessed with tennis balls, and you can probably fit three or four in this bag.

This is a fantastic training bag. When I was browsing, I actually ended up buying one in the form of a simple pouch with a drawstring first (meh, fiddling with the drawstring isn't ideal so I just leave it open) and then buying this later when I wanted to make sure I could wash one and have another ready to go. However, this is the only one that my husband and I use now. The bag's design allows for quick access to treats while keeping them safe from prying eyes at the dog park or escaping while jogging. I keep high-value treats in a couple of velcro pockets. My dog has learned that the sound of velcro signals very good things are about to happen as a result of this process. There's also a side pocket where you can easily dispense poop bags! We thought this bag might be too big at first, but it's ideal for a dog in-home. training. Our bag easily fits about 2 cups of kibble and treats, as well as a clicker, poop bags, and keys.
