It is our privilege to have a very smart, if slightly ornery little poodle puppy, but he gets bored -- especially if we don't train him much. Every evening he will walk in front of me to sit down and wait for our training session to begin, and then he gets very very excited to start. The minute I make him wait too long, he starts whining and performing tricks for me, regardless of whether I ask him to do so. It was suggested by our highly regarded local dog whisperer that I look into clicker training as a way of training a dog, since it has a lot of positives. It was easy to get him used to the clicker, once he was comfortable in his crate, and then he picked up on how clicker He finally went in on his own when I told him to "Crate" or "Go to 'Bed'", without any complaints. I paired this positive association with the clicker, however, and that seemed to have more impact on him. It is for my dogs and clients that I purchase these clicker collars. I have never encountered a problem with these clickers, and they deliver the results I expect. I love the bracelet function in that they can hang around on my wrist all day long to capture random good behavior without having to hold the clicker constantly or fumbling with my pockets. When I have plenty of clickers available at all times, or if I want to leave them attached to different treat pouches or in different parts of the house, that makes me very happy.

I highly recommend it. It is only a problem that they were not delivered with a professional dog trainer attached! It's small enough that you can easily hide it in your hand, yet big enough that you can still hold on to it and operate it. The clicker is not very loud, but the sound is definitely loud enough. I was worried that it might not be loud enough, but I'm relieved.

Clickers are not too loud, and they can not be heard harshly through clothing. As well, the button style almost makes it impossible to misfire a shot. Well, almost impossible, but it is by far the best design of all the pistols I've seen. These will be handed out during my classes in the near future.
