Questions & Answers
The cable provided to us is strong enough to hold our 40-pound dog. Ensure the twist stake you are hooking it up to is large and strong enough to support the weight if pulled. Over 40 pounds could be supported by the cable itself.
It says on the packaging that it's made to Four Paws' specifications in China. My original order was of high quality and I reordered it in order to have a spare on hand. Due to the fact that it was made in China, several reasons could exist not to buy it, but one of them would not be quality. Cables I have purchased in the past have not been as strong and flexible as this one.
We gave the cable to a friend after our dog died so I can't remember how thick the cable was. My dog took advantage of the cable because it was strong and durable. In order to ensure the cable is supported properly, you must have a stake that is strong and wide enough to hold
There is no lead in them, according to me. A soft lead wouldn't be able to handle the heat.

There was a need to locate some shorter ties There are downs for the inside of our apartment and for my service dog at work, as well as All of those uses work well with these. The cable can be wrapped around the leg of a bed or desk several times to shorten the length before attaching the end carabiner, or you can simply loop it in a loop once and then attach the end carabiner to allow the full 10 foot length cable to attach. It is unfortunate that our dog was attacked very viciously by another dog a few months ago, and in response he developed a nasty nature. Despite his 60lb weight, he is very muscular There is a protective/mean streak more than a mile wide. This was the lead he was tethered to while we were RV vacationing. As two dogs approached, one started barking and the other stopped. During the break, the end loop of this tether slipped through and came undone, and the other dog caught up with it. It was fortunate that our dog was wearing a muzzle, so no injuries occurred. According to the rating, the product was meant for much larger dogs. About 7 times we used the computer tether, and after each use it was put away. We did not suffer any damage due to the weather. There is nothing I can do about the broken pipe, but I am grateful we avoided serious damage.
The harness has so far been proving very effective for my mastiff/pit mix who weighs 76 pounds. The product has only been used twice so far but I'm very pleased with it. I am not surprised about its durability. It feels like it should have been much more expensive. Everyone on these reviews says it will last about a year, so it's a great deal. Please include the following as a PS Whenever he goes out, I play with my dog outside for perhaps 5 minutes while he goes. To avoid having to use a leash, he will have no leash at all. So far, I do not know whether he jumps fences or not. I just got him from the shelter. I would like to see you arrested if you use this to keep your dog on a chain 24 hours a day. product, the product picture shows a thick cable and the one that you receive is frilly. In my case I found a cheaper tie out cable at a local pet store, I needed a thick cable to tie my large German shepherd and my Beagle to. As I was untrusting of the cable, I bought at the local pet store, when I opened the box I was horrified to find exactly the same flimsy tie out cable I had used previously! Take a look at the two pictures, the one here and the original package picture, they seem to show very different items!.
My experience with the thin plastic tie outs makes them fray and snap more quickly than this one, so I'll be purchasing more of it in the future. In Minnesota, ours lasted one year before snapping, but that is with it staying outside all day and being used daily. This tie-out has received positive reviews from other reviewers, and individuals in Alaska and Michigan work for it. I have consistently snapped my tie outs in the middle of the year both last year and this year The low temperatures or the cycle of freezing, thawing, and freezing have likely contributed to the slow growth in January. There is no reason for him to be too heavy since we have a beagle. With our tie out we have a stake in the front yard. We also have a tie out tied to the railing of the front step so we can hang him up inside and then open the door and let him out to do his business and then he barks until we open the door. We don't have to leave the warm house ourselves, so that saves us time and energy. Our Minneapolis home sits on a 40 foot wide lot, so the 20 foot tie out is ideal because the houses are pretty close together, so if we put the stake in the middle we'll have plenty of space for the stake. The dog never wanders into the neighbor's yards from that point of the yard. (On our street, some houses have 50 feet wide lots and so a 25 foot tie out would be ideal).
There is a 40 lb malamute in my house She thinks she's a wolf that weighs 100 pounds. Any tie she holds can be snapped by her Whenever I put her on a collar or harness, she really seems to enjoy getting out of them. She is definitely a fighter, so I needed a product that would hold her, yet still allow me to slide it along her original tie-in There is a rope for crossing the yard that works well. Since she eventually fights so hard that she breaks them, I have to change it out about every four months. In any case, it's a good deal for the price. This product holds her tight, and unlike chains, it doesn't tangle or cut her on sharp edges as it does not tangle. I like how light it is As it does not tangle around her, it is really safe for her to use. It also isn't too heavy so she doesn't feel chained up when playing outside. This tie gives me total confidence that she can be outside without fear of being slapped Take a break. The rest of the ties As far as the outsides were concerned, I was worried that they would break too easily or tangle in shrubbery or around her. The Alaska one I have here- I live in Alaska - is perfect This is why we The fact that these snaps occur during 40 degree weather is a major factor. The machine works great in the summer, and it never fails. A warning is included on the package in case of below-freezing temperature (which, I assume, is due to the metal becoming brittle and the plastic coating breaking). I gave it 5 stars instead of 4 since I feel that the product would work perfectly for medium sized dogs if it were used in the United States. I like how light it is The leash is lightweight, durable, and does not tangle. My dog seems not to have any problems with it.
Admittedly, he puts kinks in the tether over time, mostly when there is loud noise, such as thunder from a pop up storm. The battery needs to be replaced every two years usually I only got my dog 4 months ago, but she has all the The strength of a regular 80-pound man is about the same as his There was a dog that weighed 100 pounds. The strength of Samson comes to him when he is afraid. I found it to be a reasonably good tether in general. My aging self does not want to chase my escape artist every three months for the price of $14. It is a small price to pay to ensure my escape artist does not wander the neighborhood and cause trouble.
