Exactly what we need for our medium sized (45 lb) puppy. As she doesn't pull much, there is no problem with the stake coming out of her. Even though it has been chewed on a lot, the cable still holds up well. Chewing through fabric tie downs is an everyday occurrence for our pup. Trying this out was an exciting experience for me. The 42 lb bully puppy I have is a 42 lb male and since I'm recovering from heart problems, I thought I'd read a book while letting the pup play outside. I really enjoyed that. It wasn't until I saw the bunny that I realized what was going on. The bunny seemed to be Piper's favorite place to go. After getting into position, she ran for her life.
