Do you know how thick it is? A true measure of metal is not its width, but its actual thickness. ?

I'm not sure. As a result, I can't answer this question because I do not have a caliper to measure metals in particular ways. The fabric is thick, so I know that. Our 15' trampoline is securely held down by these four bolts.

As a result of the drill bit breaking, the kit was useless. I need a replacement. Where can I get one?

You might be able to make it It will be far enough in the ground for the spiral stakes to be in place

Lay-flat feature was one of the reasons I was so excited about these stakes. It would be too much trouble to use my rider underneath my trampoline instead of a push mower. The stakes did not hold up in the end. As part of my effort to use my impact driver, the first stake broke at the head attachment. The second stake I did carefully, even putting the stake in reverse when it became tight to try and work around a rock, if that was what was making it difficult. Even though I had made it half way through, I still thought it would break again, so I turned it manually by hand. There was still time for me to get two more rotations before the whole head snapped. My problem is that I bought these stakes in early spring but could not install my trampoline until the weather broke, so I'm past the 30 day return policy and now have 3 stakes halfway through the.

It is truly worth the price. The material they are made of is strong and durable. Our trampoline is currently being held down with the included straps since the one that was previously there was destroyed in a wind storm. There is a convenient "bolt" top and a power drill bit attached so you can conveniently drill them into the ground (I got a lot of drill kickback the deeper it went, but that is not the fault of the product, but is due to Since I had no idea the bit was included, I felt a bit blessed. As the belt ring lays flat when it is not in use, it is an amazing feature. As a result, I can let go of the straps, move the trampoline, and mow over the stakes without causing any damage to the ground or stakes.

A hard soil is not ideal for this product

There is no reason to use them on These couldn't even be driven into the ground with our drill. By hand this was impossible with these because the flimsy material is too light and the piece that was included doesn't even fit all the way. Leaving the city.

I bent two out of four stakes while screwing them into the ground, as they are medium-duty stakes

It is nice that they come with a hex adapter so that you can use an impact driver or drill to start them. You may be able to get away with a very soft ground, but anything beyond that might be a problem.
