It is not permissible to administer it to dogs. It's supposed to get rid of fleas in carpets.
The active ingredients haven't changed, as far as we're aware. After acquiring Vet Kem, PRN Pharmacal has begun changing the outer label, and the names Ovitrol and Siphotrol will no longer be used.
I don't notice any leftover residue once this product has dried. After the spray has dried, it should be safe to contact the area that was sprayed. It dries quickly because you don't have to spray heavily or saturate the area.
Fleas exploded in droves in 2019. This was the only thing that worked (along with administering appropriate medications to the pets). To begin with, we sprayed the house once a week, as I recall. Then, as we regained control, it gradually decreased. Best wishes to you.

Pay attention to the directions. When I discovered my dog had fleas, I bought two cans to treat my house. br>I cleaned the entire house with a vacuum cleaner. To be safe, I emptied the vacuum into a trash can outside, then sprayed the vacuum's interior. br>I then proceeded to treat all of the carpeting in the house. br>I also sprayed all of the dog's bedding and accessories with flea killer and left them outside for 7 hours to kill the fleas. Dry. Chewable meds and a flea bath were used to treat my dog. Throughout the house, I washed all Human bedding and fabric. br>I went out for the day and when I got home, I washed the dog bedding because I was afraid the chemicals would make him sick. br>I vacuumed once more, this time emptying the vacuum OUTSIDE. br>There isn't much of a chemical odor, but there is an OILY residue on my carpets. The shiny oil residue was visible as I walked from carpet to hardwood flooring. br>THIS PRODUCT DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. br>I'm going to re-order two more cans. When EGGS HATCH, treat the affected areas within 14 days. br>Remember that the eggs hatch after 14 days and reinfest your pets. Home.
Our dogs are covered in them, but we rarely see them on ourselves or anywhere else. We paid $90 to have the house sprayed by an exterminator. We sat outside for four hours during the shelter's place order, and when we returned with our pets, they were attacked. Nothing died after five days! To get rid of the fleas on our two dogs, we had to bathe them every day. I'd say 40-45 minutes. Each dog will receive 50 dollars. Baby shampoo was an excellent choice. Regardless, we waited six days before attempting the VET- KEM noticed a change right away. We had been waiting for two hours. This time we were gone for 5 hours and vacuumed as soon as we returned. This morning, my dogs only had a couple of fleas. It's incredible! We have a 2,000-square-foot home with six carpeted areas, and this barely covers the entire interior. We'll buy another can if the fleas return, and this time we'll work backwards. I gave it four stars for longevity because it's only been two days, but so far so good. This product is well worth the money, and I would recommend it to anyone who has a flea infestation.
This was recommended by my veterinarian as the most effective way to get rid of fleas in my home. Simply spray all areas and wait two hours for it to dry before allowing your pets to touch anything you've sprayed. At the very least, it will keep the fleas away for a few months. I will never use another flea treatment in my home. You must, of course, keep your pets' monthly topical treatments up to date. However, you'll never have to share your bed with a flea-infested pet again. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT > This spray should never be used on food, food bowls, dishes, or utensils. All food containers should be washed, and any food that has been in contact with fleas should be thrown away.
This is an excellent product. My basement had deteriorated to the point where you could see them on you before making it from one end to the other. Now, what better test than to spray yourself before going into the basement and spraying everything? (I don't recommend this, but it worked) so jeans walked down to basement, waited until I saw a few fleas on my leg, sprayed them, and they were instantly dead, so I sprayed the entire basement heavily. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but it's certainly killed them for the time being.
This product was purchased because our two cats had picked up fleas in our basement during the Indian Summer season. I tried Frontline (for cats over one year old) but it didn't work. Advantage II was used to successfully lose 5 lbs. I needed something to spray on the floor, upholstered furniture, and baseboards in our bedroom. This product is far too "industrial," necessitating hours of evacuation and other measures, and it could not be returned. It was apparently sent to me despite the fact that it contained flammable elements. I'm thinking about putting it in the basement, but I'm worried it'll be too toxic there because we have litter boxes, laundry, and a second refrigerator there.
When my three pets were infested with fleas, my brother, a veterinarian with 30 years of experience, suggested this to me. Although it is costly to use this for three treatments spaced out over six weeks, it works, is non-sticky, and does not smell. The best part is that it only takes about 30 minutes for it to dry before you can enter the room. Flea bombs pale in comparison.
I'm not sure how effective this is yet. We did the entire pack up the car with all of the couch cushions covers, all of the cat beds, and all blankets as bedding, spray, and drive to the laundromat (with kitten in car) yesterday. This stuff smells a lot like Raid, which isn't a good thing. Also, the same kitten started vomiting, so we ended up going to the emergency vet at 10 p. m. He's fine now, and we're not sure if it's because of the spray or because he had a particularly stressful day. But it's unlikely that I'll use it again.
With my two cats, I recently relocated to a new apartment. My cats began scratching themselves frequently almost immediately, and I was shocked to discover they had fleas. This product was recommended by my veterinarian, so I ordered it right away. The instructions were simple to follow, and the product delivered on its promises. I'm happy to report that my apartment is now flea-free after only one application. If you have a flea problem, BUY THIS. You'll be glad you did.
