I wouldn't use it as a hand sanitizer because it's meant for wounds.

This spray is excellent for repairing lacerations or scratches on an animal's hide. It will heal and regrow new hair, restoring the skin's or hide's natural appearance. I used this on a baby calf whose hide was peeling and scaly on the left side of the back, ears, tail, and hips, so I sprayed it once a day as directed. The calf's hide has healed completely, with no scarring or other signs of trauma. This spray, according to the person who recommended it to me, can be used on people and can help with skin healing by preventing infections. I'll definitely give it a shot the next time I'm in need of weather for myself or one of my animals.
It takes a long time of consistent use, but this is the only product I've tried that has actually helped her re-grow her frogs; I've tried a lot of products and this is the best so far; it doesn't seem to cause pain when applied like some of the others I've tried.
