Questions & Answers

Is the sunbeam egg deterrent compatible with these?

Sunbeam egg deterrent is something I've never heard of before.

How many sprays do you think there are per four? What is the weight of a 5 oz unit? Thank you (I guess I'll do the experiment if no one notices)?

I'm guessing it'll be between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. 100 Please let me know how close I am after you've tried it.

Is it possible to use this unit with the Contech Stay Away spray head?

It's a good match for Stay-Alive. Away. Both heads for both products are compatible, and I have both of them.

Is it safe for my dog to use it, or will it deter him from using it in the backyard?

The sensitivity of the dog is a factor. Some people are unconcerned about it, while others are terrified. My Blue Healer has grown accustomed to it, and the cats are the only ones who are afraid of it. Except for one of my eight cats, which I refer to as the "no fear" cat.

Year after year, there is a lot of price gouging
3/5

Although the product functions satisfactorily, I would like to draw attention to the outrageous price. This item cost $49. when I first purchased it on May 4, 2017. They used to charge $29 for a six pack, but now they charge $89. There is no excuse for charging that much for compressed air. There is no excuse for charging that much for compressed air. There is no excuse for charging that much for com.

The product itself is effective, and I would normally recommend it at a price of
3/5

The product itself is functional, and I would normally rate it at least four stars (the sensors don't always go off, and sometimes they do, so I have to turn it off). What I don't like about it is that the price keeps going up every time I need to re-order. order. It was $53 for six cans on July 6, 2017, and it is now $69. br>br>$89 now. This is completely absurd.

It's pointless
3/5

Once your cat is used to it, he or she will squint at the spray but ignore it. That is, if the cat is the one who activates it in the first place. It will be set off by you and anyone else in your house, without a doubt. Every time you walk by it, the contents of this very expensive air canister will be quickly depleted, but whether or not your cat will do so is a gamble. Normally, I am unsuccessful. Then, because cats are jerks, your cat will just knock it off the counter.

Pet Deterrent with a High Level of Reliability
5/5

These refills have been purchased numerous times by me. The cost of restocking appears to be prohibitively expensive. Other reviewers recommend compressed air from an office supply store. I haven't done much research, but compressed air from an office supply store does not appear to be a significant cost savings over purchasing this product specifically for this purpose. br>br>In terms of effectiveness, this product is the only thing that has kept two cats from peeing on a couch in our basement. Sticky mats, shock mats, and blankets were all ineffective. The only issue is ensuring that children do not turn off the sensors and then forget to turn them back on when they are finished with the couch.

It really works
3/5

when everything is in place! I bought three of the original units that come with a can because they work so well. However, when the original cans were depleted, I purchased a six-pack. For $90, you can get a pack of replacement cans, which is a ridiculously high price for air cans! Two of the caps do not fit the new cans, so I'm not sure if the problem is with the cans or the caps. When the unit is working properly, it is the purrfect solution for keeping cats off the counters (or any other area you want to keep them out of). I hope they figure out the design flaw and fix it. I also hope they wake up and lower the price of compressed air cans. Price gouging at its most egregious!.

SSScat is the best, and every cat owner should have one
5/5

I have three cats, two of whom are constantly jumping on the table and other surfaces, particularly at night. I had previously used SSScat and found it to be very useful, but when I tried to reorder from the manufacturer, they were having difficulty getting the labeling approved by some government agency. When I saw that this seller on Amazon had SSScat refills in stock, I placed an order for five of them right away. br>They are simply compressed air cans that contain nothing harmful. To begin, you must first purchase the kit, which includes an air can and a special top to go with it. The top requires four batteries (AAA, I believe) and features an infrared motion sensor as well as a small spray nozzle for a burst of air. There are three spray nozzle settings: upward, straight, and downward, as well as a back-mounted on/off switch. br>br>SSScat is a fantastic tool! The air burst is strong and loud. My cats are light on their feet! Three things appeal to me the most: 1) There is no mess or water droplets from a squirt bottle. 2) You don't need to be present to "catch" them doing something incorrect. That is taken care of by the sesor. br>3) And the best reason is that after a few times of SSScat working on the cats, you can turn it off to save air while the cats remain terrified! (At least, that's how I feel about it. ) )br>br>The only drawback to SSScat is that the top part will only fit their refill cans; it will not fit any of the air cans used to clean camera lenses or computers. br>I am a huge fan of this product.

The Most Effective Cat Deterrent When the sprayer's motion detector (available separately) is activated, SSSCAT fires a harmless blast of air
5/5

It is the most effective deterrent for keeping my cats away from the kitchen counter and mantle. They are taken aback when they hear the noise. They eventually notice the can and refuse to walk past it. The only disadvantage is that it is quickly depleted. br>br> Try to place it so that when you walk by, it doesn't trigger the motion detector.

A fantastic cat trainer
5/5

This SSSCat is an excellent product in terms of efficiency and security. It will control most cats and even frightens a former marine! My only major issue is the cost, as well as the motion sensor, which loses its functionality over time; I tried cleaning the window but it made no difference. I try to stay away from purchasing a new complete set on a regular basis. br>I am the proud owner of three felines: One Japanese "Good-natured" cat was partially domesticated by a feral cat. a Russian Blue cat and a "good luck" cat SSSCat is used in the kitchen and three times in a row on the top of the stairs because I don't want the cats to go there. This "Top-Rated" the- Only one cat is affected by the "stairs" location; the other two will break through no matter what to be at my bedroom door when I wake up. They know they're zapped because they'll wait for me to turn off the cans before going down, but they defy the odds by getting up first thing in the morning. They respect it during the day, when I'm downstairs. So, while it may not work on all cats or all of the time, the hardy ones are the exception.
