The undercoat on my Pom is extremely thick. It's impossible to get through it with a brush. Brushing was excruciating, and combing was impossible, so I kept her clipped. I tried everything that was suggested to me. After that, I gave it a go. Brushes and combs glide effortlessly through the hair. Her tresses are never yanked. I don't let her get knots, so that wasn't the problem; it was just a super dense, extremely thick undercoat. This spray is fantastic. Despite the fact that I have severe allergies, the scent of this spray does not bother me in the least. It has a lovely scent.

I have two thick double-coated Pomeranians who need to be brushed out at least once a day if not twice a day. The cote is prone to mats, and this product will make your dog smell sickeningly sweet, which is something you don't want your dog to smell like, or anyone or anything that actually works to detangle and demat your dog's hair. They get a map, I spray this on them, comb through, and the mats are gone without causing my dogs any discomfort; the only drawback is the smell. But it's a great conditioning detangler, and I use it right before a bath so I can get all the tangles out and not have to make new mats while they're being bathed, and I can keep the shampoo and conditioner smell away from this product, which also doesn't wear the hair. So, aside from the smell, this is the only detangler I've found that truly works.

I tried opening the bottle and squeezing a small amount instead of spraying it. I took it outside to see what it was like. Indoors, with my air filer running and only the brush to apply, I was exhausted. The odor makes me sick no matter what method I use. It's very sweet, almost candy-like, which explains why some reviewers like it. It, on the other hand, causes excruciating and deep pain in the head, eyes, and sinuses, as well as nausea. Pain lasts for a long time, and I've tried to ignore it, but it gets worse the more I try to use it. Most dog grooming scents haven't made me sick, but this one, unfortunately, is HORRIBLE. br>br>I recommend that you DO NOT BUY until you are certain that this product is safe for you, even if you will be exposed to it repeatedly. We require products that are both safe for our dogs and for those who interact with them. Products, including their scents, should be pleasant to use, cause no allergic reactions, and be free of chemicals. br>br>At the very least, a clear warning that this product is not suitable for use by potentially sensitive people (or dogs) should be included. ) I sincerely hope that this formula can be tweaked so that it can be enjoyed and used safely in the future.

Although this product aids in the detangling of our Bernedoodle, it remains a difficult task. After brushing, she feels silkier and smells great. We hoped it would keep her less tangled between professional groomings, but after a thorough brushing with this product, she still gets a lot of knots within a few days, and the "silky" feel seems to fade quickly. It is beneficial, but not to the extent that we had hoped.

It detangles him reasonably well, though some got into one of his eyes the other night when spraying towards the top of his head. His eye became red and teary as a result of the ringing in his ears. He's the type who likes to move around when it's time to groom and take care of his hygiene, so if your dog is good at listening during these times, you should be fine. The scent is VERY strong and sweet, and while we love it, we all wish it was diluted a little.

This is what I've been doing with my Malshi. Because Malshi's do not shed, if their fur is not brushed daily, it will grow into knots. This product aids in the smoothing out of knots, allowing for easier combing. However, the bottle design is ridiculous, so I give the product four stars. Because holding and spraying at the same time is difficult for me, why not put it in a regular shaped bottle?.

It has a delectable aroma. Our curly-haired yorkie/silkie mix and the owner find it appealing. His curls are prone to clumping and matting. His skin is too sensitive for the slicker brush. His coat wouldn't go through the shepherd's comb, and he wouldn't sit still for it. br>We wash and condition him with a shampoo and conditioner designed specifically for dogs with hair rather than fur. He refuses to use a hair dryer, so once he's towel dried and scooted himself all over the carpet, the conditioner's work is rendered useless. However, this miracle spray adds a significant amount of time and effort to the arduous procedure. No, it isn't a panacea, but it does make a significant difference.

We adore it! I have a lovely Shihtzu who gets brushed almost every day, and she has been a great help to me. It has a wonderful scent to it. Work in the same way that a detangling spray for humans would. Recommend for any dogs that require minor grooming.
