How can you tell if a can is effective?

I don't think you can unless it's been tested in a laboratory. Every time I used mine, I was amazed at how effective it was. I used to have a bottle of this same brand that lasted over two decades and was always there when I needed it. It discharges in a stream pattern, making it more difficult to use on small, fast-moving dogs. It's possible that a mist would be preferable. Remember that using a product for something other than its "listed" purpose, such as bear spray on a dog, can get you in a lot of trouble due to Federal use laws.

What are the ingredients in this dish?

The following is what the can says: ingredient in action: Capsaicin and capsaicinoids are the active ingredients in chili peppers. 35% of the oleoresin and capsicum component component component component component component component component Other ingredients include: petroleum distillate makes up 65% of the components of the components of the

Is this something that could be used with chickens? Don't make any jokes. That's not a joke. My cat is being attacked by them. ?

This is not a joke. Cat was taken aback when he discovered he hadn't been served chicken for dinner. To be honest, I don't think I'll give it a shot. I believe it has the potential to harm more people. Water in a spray bottle could be a good option. It is less likely to harm the eyes of the chickens.

This stuff is effective! This stuff worked to stop a pit bull attack, and I'm sold
5/5

When I was riding my bike, the dog charged at me, and I couldn't 'outrun' it. After allowing the dog to approach, I began spraying. It was going full speed when Halt slammed the brakes on it. I sprayed it directly into the dog's eyes, and it rolled down the sidewalk, yelping. It leapt to its feet, dashed to the nearest patch of grass, and began rubbing its face in it. I had to turn around a minute later because I was stuck on a dead-end road. The dog was still rubbing its eyes as we approached the end of the street. br>br>I adore dogs (except when they attack me), and the good news is that Halt isn't as harsh as pepper spray. It dissipates after a few minutes, causing no harm to the dog or its eyes. However, it temporarily halts the attack, allowing you to flee. It's something I always have with me when I'm riding.

With a large wasp spray can and a Club, this is a good, great product
5/5

If you're within 10 feet of an attacker, these are fantastic. However, I learned the hard way that because a dog's adrenaline levels are so high when it bites, spraying the face with the eyes 1 inch away won't work. Carry a club and pepper spray with you. To make the dog realize it's being attacked, hit it on the flank, side, and back legs. That's how my hog and husband ended up. Carry a can of wasp spray if you want to stop an animal from 20 feet away. To apply pressure to the can, give it a good shake. Wasp spray successfully deterred a dog from crossing the street, which is fantastic. When my dog and I go outside, I carry the three items in a cloth bag.

THE BEST
5/5

This is, without a doubt, the best investment you've ever made. I was riding my bike when I came across a regular who decided he wanted to bite me. ONE TO THE FACE and he won't come near me again. With the addition of four more people, the same thing happened. It doesn't take effect right away; it takes about 15 seconds, but boy, when it does, they're rubbing this stuff off instead of paying attention to me. This goes on for at least 45 minutes, according to my calculations. If they charge the next time, can they do a double take and flee if I just show them this red and white? Some dogs refuse to leave the porch at all. Is it obvious that I adore this stuff and that it is effective?.

Fortunately, I was able to react quickly enough
5/5

Many years ago, I had this while working for the Postal Service as a temporary route carrier. I kept it in my mailbag, despite the fact that I figured I'd never need it. However, at the house where I was about to deliver, I was ambushed by a particularly aggressive dog who emerged from behind bushes. Fortunately, I was able to react quickly enough. Before he got to me, I snuck in a Halt shot. It sends him fleeing/howling right away. br> I was delivering the same route about a week later, and this time I was cautious as I approached the house. I noticed the same dog hiding behind the bush, as if it was about to attack. He reappeared, threateningly, but this time I simply patted the spray bottle. and that astute critter changed its mind right away ran. After that, I didn't have any more issues with him. br> It works wonders as a dog repellent, and any assailant would be rendered temporarily immobile!.

This is a must-have for regular walkers
5/5

People in my neighborhood seem to believe it's acceptable to let their dogs run loose, despite common courtesy and local laws. This is essential if you are a frequent walker. The majority of dogs are friendly, but there are a few that are not. I have no intention of being bitten because some jerk can't control his vicious dog. It's fine with me if the post office says it's okay. If you remember back that far, it's kind of like Miracle on 34th Street.

There will be no more bites from dogs! My e-bike is what I use to get around
5/5

In the last nine months, I've been attacked by a number of dogs while riding my bike every day. The photograph depicts a hole in my pants caused by a dog biting my calf. To solve the problem, a friend recommended that I buy Halt. So I went out and purchased a few. One of the dogs that had been bothering me for months came after me once more. I came to a complete stop, aimed, and shot. That was a week ago, and I haven't seen the dog since. It was a good lesson. When I sprayed the dog and later stopped to talk to neighbors, I did so with gloves on. I used my mouth to remove my glove so that I could resume listening to my music on my iPhone. I got a squirt of hot spray in my mouth! My karma!.

Mind at ease! I'm hoping I'll never need it
5/5

After being attacked by a neighbor's dog while walking my lease dog, I realized I needed to do something. The dog was much larger than mine, and it refused to obey the owner. There's nothing quite like seeing a dog charging at you at full speed while its owner screams from behind. Thankfully, our dogs' fight was brief, but what about next time? According to the hubby, this isn't the first time this has happened. Mindfulness.

Works
4/5

Because I've been attacked by dogs a few times, I bought this a long time ago and keep it in my back pocket when I go jogging. I once had a sprained thumb after a small dog ran between my legs and tripped me. Last week, when a large dog chased me and attempted to jump on me, I used the spray for the first time. I sprayed a short burst on the dog's snout because yelling at it was ineffective, and since there was no owner around, I sprayed a short burst on the dog's snout, and it bolted. The spray was a single stream that went about three feet (it could have gone further, but the dog was nearby), and it worked. I gave it four stars because there isn't much spray in the can. It would be nice to have more, but what we have so far has proven to be effective.
