My dog is pretty good at not tampering with the bandages or attempting to remove them (he's my sweet furbaby). Well, the areas on his paws that were irritated and red weren't as bad looking in the morning when the bandages were removed, so hopefully over the next few days the areas on his paws heal up and become less of an issue for him! Tonight is the second night doing the same thing, so hoping the areas on his paws heal up and become less of an issue for him over the next few days! So far, I've been very pleased with this product and would strongly recommend it. (The only criticism I have is that pushing down to get the product to spray out can be difficult at times. ).
I can't comment on the product as a whole yet, but the nozzle is terrible. Have you ever tried spraying an area on your dog that he doesn't want you to get close to? Then you realize how important it is to act quickly. The nozzle was nearly impossible to press down (and yes, I flipped the tab down), and when I did, I cut my finger on the stupid thing's edges. Fortunately, I had an empty bottle of a similar product and was able to replace the entire spray assembly on this. It worked perfectly after I did so.
Unfortunately, the product had no effect on my dog. It appeared to make things easier for him. I'm annoyed as well, because this came highly recommended.
My dog broke a nail when she leapt from the stairwell to the concrete walkway, so I bought this for her. After cleaning the area, I sprayed this antiseptic medicated spray on it, which relieved the pain and made her feel more at ease. Because we go for a walk twice a day during the week, I clean the area with soapy water, pat it dry, and then spray it, and she goes back to playing with her toys. Recommend it, and keep it on hand at all times.
If you have a dog like mine who gets into everything and doesn't care about their own body, this is a must-have for your dog's first-aid kit. Our dog is already out getting into mischief as a result of this. I recently purchased a second bottle to keep on hand.
Although the nozzle is a little difficult to use, it is well worth the money. My dog suffers from severe allergies, and after biting and licking at it, she created a wound on her tail. Her tail was shaved and she was given an antibiotic by the doctor. 2- I sprayed her tail with the remedy and recovery spray. 3 times a day to keep it clean and help it heal faster. The spray and oral antibiotics prescribed by her veterinarian yielded these results. Her tail was clear in a week, so I'll definitely keep this on hand. I've never felt compelled to write a cheesy review before, but today I felt compelled to do so in order to let everyone know that this stuff works.
I should have paid attention to what the other people had to say. It's in a spray bottle that doesn't actually spray. It does, however, leak on anything it comes in contact with. The plastic bag in which it was delivered leaked. When I attempted to spray it, it leaked on me. When I attempted to fix it, it leaked into the sink. Furthermore, the bottle's design prevents it from being used without spraying. I gave up after a long time. Time, effort, and money have all been wasted.
It's something we use for ourselves rather than the dogs. Both are simple to apply for. It's my hope that it sinks in before the dogs lick it away.
