The 70's were my era when I was growing up. When it comes to things like this, I'm kind of old fashioned. As a kid, I was exposed to tons of UV light from black light fluorescent tubes. You could light up the whole house with just one 24 inch tube. LEDs don't produce that much UV light anymore and I didn't think LEDs would offer much in the way of quality UV light output, but the opposite is true. UVA lights from these little flashlights make things which until now had been invisible visible by flooding a small area with light. Using one of these to inspect your bathroom or kitchen will almost guarantee a clean bathroom or kitchen in the near future. Detection of counterfeits is easier when you look at government issued IDs and licenses, Postal service stamps, and paper money, for example. Although the LEDs do get a little warm if used for an extended period of time, since the flashlight is meant for inspection purposes and not for lighting up the night, this should not pose any problems. I loved these so much that I ordered four more so that I can give them to friends and keep one There is no way you can go wrong with this for the price.

I've been using these little flashlights for several years. As I was worried they would be too powerful since they are such a small size, I was pleasantly surprised when they did a great job at kicking out the blacklight and enabling me to easily find the pee spots my evil cat leaves around the house. I found this to be an invaluable tool if you live with a disagreeable / psycho/ misbehaved pet like I do, or if you have old animals that have difficulty getting to their proper place at the right time. Without it, your nose will confuse the scents, and you will never find all the spots you need to clean, and you will be unable to cope with that smell.
A scorpion hunt is conducted at the Desert Museum using them. Strange as it sounds, but scorpions glow under the blacklight when a blacklight is shone upon them. My parents used one during my visit with them and I enjoyed it. However, I'm not a big fan of scorpions, so I was a little nervous. I love it. It's likely they would be useful for other purposes as well. Considering my grandsons are pretty young, I'm pretty certain this light is sturdy enough to withstand being dropped. Even though they are small, they seem like they're well made. As well as the price, it was good. Nearly identical lights were being sold at the museums and were double the price. This is a company I would recommend.

The perfect size for attaching to a lanyard that I will use to light up my GLOW GRUBS at night. It puts out a great deal of UV light considering its size (A fisherman's secret). The pet owner or boat owner who fishes with a kayak will definitely recommend it.
My friend paid 1 1/2 times as much as I did, and he I received two flash lights. My wife had to return hers because it made the flash light so hot that she could not manage to handle I like how the flash lite fits perfectly in my pocket and feels comfortable to hold. The rocks and flash lite I took to work with me where I work with the public were very helpful. These rocks literally glow in the dark, which amazed customers. The other one went to my grandson because he is a rock hound as well. This is definitely worth a 5 star rating.
There is a lot of power in these little things! Bright and very lovely. Taking too much time in the light is bad for you. These batteries are not included with the system. The requirement for AAAs is necessary. In the event of a repeat of this project, we would buy the same ones.
