It depends on the location of the stain. Despite the fact that it neutralizes urine, the NAKED EYE may leave behind a residue or a lighter stain. If you used a black light on carpeting, I'm guessing a lighter stain would appear, indicating where the original problem was. Best wishes to you.
I've tried both and can tell you that the urine destroyer is far superior to the'regular' formula when it comes to pet urine. Why is this so?
Yes, it completely removes stains that are only visible under black light, leaving no stain on the carpet. On my carpet, at least. I simply use my black light to wet the spot at night until it vanishes. Allow for an hour of soaking time. Place a white towel over the damp area and walk on it to absorb as much moisture as possible. Allow it to dry after that. After a few days, go back and check it. If necessary, repeat if there is still a small amount of material showing at the edges.

I despise having to purchase a "Urine Destroyer" product. Seriously, every time I order this product, I tell my dogs how disappointed I am that I have to spend my hard-earned money on "Urine Destroyer. " Even so, they make no attempt to show regret. [sigh]. My life had gone horribly wrong at some point. That being said, this is an excellent product with an excellent sprayer. It provides excellent coverage for the affected area while causing no damage to the area rugs I use. Others who don't want to live in a house that smells like a barnyard should strongly consider this book.
This is a repeat purchase for me, but I'm disappointed to report that the formula for this product has changed dramatically since the last time I bought it, two years ago, when we were training our last puppy. The product I used two years ago didn't foam up, which was ideal for my few area rugs. This product, on the other hand, foams up into a thick lather that is nearly impossible to remove from the rug, leaving an unsightly sticky soapy residue behind. Please, Nature's Miracle, go back to the tried-and-true formula.
I recently finished a bottle of this product that I bought a few years ago, and it was very mild and did the job well. This one arrived today, and the smell of their added "scent" was awful the first time I sprayed a spot about the size of a 50 cent piece. It has now completely filled my 2400 square foot home, and I will no longer use it. For the past two decades, I've relied on Nature's Miracle to eliminate skunk and urine odors, and I'm not sure how they came up with the idea of introducing a new odor into your home when you use their product. When used on a fresh stain, this stuff works wonders, and I've discovered a way to use it that also works wonders on old stains!
- I start by scrubbing the stained area with my Bissel Pet carpet cleaner (which is filled with water and a little Nature's Miracle carpet shampoo).
- Then, while the carpet is still damp, I pour this Urine Destroyer into a spray bottle and THOROUGHLY saturate the stained area! br>It does a fantastic job of getting everything out!
Note: This formula has a light fresh scent right out of the bottle, but once it's on the carpet and the enzymes start eating all of the pet gunk, it can take on a pet-like odor. It emits an odor similar to that of a rotten egg. When the product is no longer functional, it disappears after a few days. If the odor persists, I use Nature's Miracle carpet shampoo with a carpet cleaner to remove it, and it is gone in no time! In addition, on my carpets, I only use Nature's Miracle products. Because of chemical reactions, your results may differ if you tried other brands first. Nature's Miracle has always proven to be the most effective method for me! Best of luck!.
It has a baby powder scent to it. It's scented to the max. Since the product did not specify a scent, I expected it to be similar to other Natures Miracle products with a light scent, but I can detect the fragrance in the air. I'm not sure if it's stopped smelling like pee because all I can smell is baby powder.
This isn't a "fresh light scent. " For over a decade, I've been using Nature's Miracle products. My senior dogs passed away a few years ago, so it's been about three years since I last purchased this product; however, I discovered my dog had been peeing on our bedroom rug last week, so I reached for the tried-and-true Nature's Miracle. I didn't read any reviews before ordering because I already knew and trusted the product. A HUGE MISTAKE. I would not have brought this hideous product into my home if I had read the reviews about the horrifying fragrance. It's impossible to stand the stench. I'm already sensitive to scents, but this one is particularly potent. I couldn't sleep in my room last night because of the sickening sweet perfume odor, and it may be at least a week before I can sleep in it again, based on how strong it smelled this morning. It has a "light, fresh scent," according to Nature's Miracle. " That irritates me to no end. "Heavy, obnoxious stench" is a good example. "br>br>Last night, I opened the windows and turned on the ceiling fan in my bedroom. (Last night, it snowed. ) That was the extent of my desperation to get some fresh air in the room. ) I closed the door and placed a towel under the crack to prevent the odor from spreading throughout the rest of my house, but the odor still made its way through the ventilation system. In our living room, I cranked up the air filter in the hopes that things would be better by morning. Nope. It's just as bad now. Fortunately, I was able to get away from it all by going to work for the day - Nonetheless - It haunts me as it clings to the insides of my nostrils. I've been using the old formula for a few years and it's been fine, especially during Arizona Monsoon Season, when our dogs have mental breakdowns due to thunder. This new "scent" has a strong industrial scent to it, which I wouldn't mind if it actually worked. I poured a generous amount onto a small area and let it dry naturally, as I always do. Let me tell you something. I can smell the urine, so I'm pretty sure my Shiba Inus can, too. I'm disappointed that the price has increased to $12 and that it no longer works.
