Selected User Reviews For Nature’s Miracle P-96987 Advanced Stain and Odor Eliminator Dog, For Severe Dog Messes, Sunny Lemon Scent,32 oz
My toddler had an accident on my bed, which I attempted to clean up with soap and vinegar, but it only made things worse. This was something I ordered in the hopes of saving my mattress. Now, I've used Nature's Miracle products for a long time, and they were at their best when they were just a bottle that you dumped on the spot and the liquid had no scent. The company has clearly expanded its product line, which is fantastic; I particularly like the spray bottle. The scents, on the other hand, are AWFUL. The product worked fine without the perfume, so I'll never understand why they changed something that worked so well. I'd say the funny lemon is the least offensive of all their revolting scents; I once had a "fresh scent" that was so overpowering and revolting that we were forced to move out. The lemon has a strong scent that reminds me of floor cleaner, but it's tolerable. After a few days, it starts to fade. The product worked, and my mattress has no odor or stain, so it did its job!.
I'd heard that the chemical'smell' from this product causes headaches and other problems, but the smell didn't bother me at all, despite my husband's vehement protests. 'I don't get it at all, so I don't have any complaints about a chemical odor. ' br>br>However, I am extremely dissatisfied with this product's claimed ability to remove pet urine and its odor, as I literally saturated the area rug where the urine was - in addition to the pad directly beneath it - I let it sit for a few hours before using my rug shampooer, making sure not to use hot or steamy water because I'd read that hot water sets the stain and smell, so I didn't use hot water (just warm). I shampooed that section of the rug several times, focusing entirely on the areas that had been treated with Nature's Miracle and using a generous amount of rug shampoo on those areas. br>br>The rug STILL smells after all the time I spent soaking it, letting it do its thing, and then steaming it for a couple of hours. It's cleaming. It was a complete waste of money, and now I have to listen to my husband whine about the "chemical odor" that did not eliminate the urine odor. "br>br>Nature's Miracle was a complete FAIL, and I strongly advise you to avoid it.
When used correctly, it was fantastic. I sold this to every customer who had a "pee on carpet" problem, and I never got a refund. br>br>Now that I'm no longer in the pet store business, I haven't needed anything like this in years. With puppies, I found myself in desperate need of Nature's Miracle, which I was delighted to find on Amazon. br>br>This is NOT the same formula they were selling previously. Because the old Nature's Miracle had no odor, when you used it, it completely neutralized the pee odor and left no lingering odor. Not any longer! br>br> I'm not sure who came up with the BRILLIANT IDEA to add this noxious scent to this product, but my carpet now smells even worse. This is something I am familiar with. I'm aware that I should soak the area thoroughly before drying it. br>br>(Some people now find it useful to cover the area with a damp towel to keep it wet long enough for it to work. ) This, too, is a first. That was something we never had to do before. )br>br>Now my carpet smells like urine AND the awful odor from the "New Formula. " It didn't even manage to get rid of the stench of urine! br>br>Natures Miracle used to work by consuming the odor with a living enzyme. This living enzyme is most likely unable to survive in this noxious mixture! br>br>At this point, I'm dealing with a double whammy. Someone here who was having the same problem as me (I'm sure there have been hundreds in the last few years) said the only thing that worked for her was a 50/50 vinegar water solution. br>br>She had to use it SEVEN times to get it to work. In the coming days, I'll begin this procedure. I WILL RETURN to report on how it went in the hopes of assisting others in a similar situation. br>br>I wish I had heeded other reviewers' warnings before blindly using this. I'm aware that the business has received numerous complaints. I'm not sure why they aren't paying attention.
I bought this to help get rid of the smell of old deodorant in my underarms (it was recommended by the Lume deodorant brand for removing old deodorant and making clothes fresh before starting their deodorant). br>It does get rid of a lot of bad deodorant odors, but the majority of my t-shirts still have that smell. It took several applications and washes to remove the scent from the shirts. br>br>At that point, the only problem is that nature's miracle smells like strange lemons. The armpits of shirts that have been washed with it smell like musty lemons. It's a lot better than the smell of caked-on old deodorant, so it's not completely useless, but it's not as miraculous as I had hoped. br>3 stars because the musty lemon scent is far superior to BO and old deodorant. For requiring multiple applications and still smelling like musty lemons, it gets a 2 out of 5 star rating.
I purchased it specifically for this incident, so the urine odor had been present for nearly a week when it arrived. I soaked the area with this stuff and it was fine after it had dried completely a few days later. The chemical smell took some time to fade, but I'd rather have chemicals than pee any day. My dog had a poop BLOWOUT this morning, and I used a machine carpet cleaner for two rounds, but there was still a large brown spot. Then I gave it a shot; I soaked it once more, and the discoloration has vanished! I can't believe what I'm hearing! That's why I rushed in to write this review right away!.
