Greetings, Amanda. KennelSol can be used on grouted floors. Wash the floor with KennelSol diluted in a gallon of water (2 oz KennelSol = 1 gallon water). Floors should be washed with the diluted solution and left damp for at least 10 minutes. Animals can walk on it once it has dried. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) conducts testing on non-porous materials. Because of this, we recommend using it on hard, non-porous surfaces. On the label, there are porous surfaces. When disinfecting porous surfaces, you can't be sure the disinfectant gets to every part of the surface, and you may miss some germs. THE ENTIRE LABEL WAS READ BY US. br>It states that you must read and follow the instructions: "HUMAN AND DOMESTIC ANIMAL HAZARDS. DANGER. OBJECTIVE. Burns the skin and causes irreversible eye damage. If swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin, it can cause serious health problems. It also states: "Avoid inhaling spray mist. " "Do not get in your eyes, on your skin, or on your clothes. " "It also states that it should not be used on food or water dishes. " It should not be touched by humans or animals until it has dried, and any area where it is used must be well ventilated. READ THE WHOLE LABEL AS THERE ARE MANY MORE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS. Comments from people/sellers, as well as the Q&A A section discusses a variety of uses that are NOT LISTED ON THE LABEL and directly contradict the Label Warnings. I run a dog walking, boarding, and training business, so I'm always cleaning! My truck bed is cleaned with Wysiwash. However, I was in desperate need of a cleaner that would work on my house's wood. Floors, countertops, and other surfaces are all made of tile. This is an excellent item. It has a minty odor that dissipates quickly and isn't at all bothersome. I could see the odor bothering people who are sensitive to certain smells, but it shouldn't be an issue if you have a well-ventilated space.
We own a mobile grooming business, and many products similar to KennelSol have an unpleasant odor, especially in small spaces like grooming vans. KennelSol cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes, and it does so effectively in all three areas. It has a pleasant wintergreen scent. It cleans surfaces quickly and thoroughly, similar to other cleaners. We don't have to rinse, so we just spray the surfaces, wipe them down, and call it a day. 1 ounce of KennelSol to 1 quart of water is the standard solution for general cleaning. Parvo can be killed with a stronger solution of 2 ounces of concentrate to 1 quart of water. All of our cleaning is done with the stronger solution. The deodorizing feature is a plus, especially when dealing with pet accidents, because it means we only need one product to deal with both cleanup and odor. KennelSol is one of our favorite brands.

This product was enjoyable to use, and I especially appreciated the fact that it did not require rinsing. I have a converted garage area that I use as an indoor dog room. It's a room in my house that used to be a bonus room, complete with a tiled floor. I removed the tile, leaving only the bare concrete. Washing, disinfecting, and rinsing the room is difficult due to the lack of a drain in the floor. The dogs do go potty in there from time to time, and I've been cleaning it with a mop and bucket until recently. I can't use bleach because it will produce a toxic gas when combined with urine (ammonia). This product assures me that the area has been disinfected and cleaned, but it does not completely eliminate the odor. I clean with a mop and bucket, then use a pump sprayer to finish. It doesn't take long to dry (if it's too wet, I'll use my wet/dry vac), but I have to go over it again with a different product to get the odor neutralized. I'll keep using it because of the disinfectant properties, but I wish it could get rid of the odor completely.
Chemical odors make me sick because I'm hypersensitive to them. A dog's sense of smell is at least 10,000 times stronger than ours, but here's a disinfectant that doesn't have a strong, unpleasant odor! It has a slight odor at first, but it quickly fades. I used it on a disassembled airplane-style dog crate in my car, as well as the tarp beneath it; I was astounded by how quickly the odor dissipated in such a small space! I've used it on both old and new hardwood floors, and neither appear to be any worse for wear. Try this if you want healthy dogs without putting them or yourself through the pungency of bleach. In addition, here's a public service announcement: non- bleach with chlorine and color-safe dye Because safe won't kill everything, you'll need to use the original bleach if you're going to use bleach. Don't do it! KennelSol is a great tool to have on hand.
