I put it in mine by filling it halfway with water and then adding about 1 cup of this. It's a great product that doesn't fade.
According to my understanding from a conversation with a Folex employee, "instant" means 32 oz. The volume of "professional" is 34 oz. It may sound absurd, but that is exactly what it is. The same can be said for regular Folex, which isn't designed to remove pet stains.
It is a cleaner for carpets.
I've tested both on urine and they appear to be equally effective. But for pet issues, I use the pet formula, and for everything else, I use the original formula. I'm just covering my bases at the moment.

In THE DINING ROOM, pee on my wool oriental rug! We have hardwood floors in the living room and kitchen (with tile in the kitchen). He has four bathrooms, but he only pees in one of them. In DR, there are poops. On that rug, this stuff was a HIT. It worked quickly, left no stains, and had a FRESH scent that did not smell like "eau de poop/pee" lol. I followed the directions (with the exception of a couple of places where I had to do it twice). Sam (our small dog) enjoys going outside, but he misses the pee pads that I placed in the D. When we're not around, we'll cover the rug. For rugs, it's similar to a "magic eraser. " carpeting You don't get the "floral attempting to mask the stench of pee or poop!" That "floral smelling pee/poop" smell irritates me to no end. That's even worse than the smell of pee or poop! Purchase it; you will enjoy it just as much as I do. It's also very fast!.
Folex is the best odor and stain remover I've ever used, and it works quickly to eliminate both problems. When a pen exploded on my pale beige carpet, it even removed ink spots. It took a few applications, but you can't tell where they were anymore. I've had a lot of rug experiences. I tried a few different furniture cleaners, including Resolve, which I liked, but Folex is now my gold standard.
I tried to clean up my puppy's messes with my carpet shampooer, but it didn't work very well. I used this product as a spot treatment and then shampooed the carpet again, and BOY WAS I GLADLY SURPRISED! It was like night and day. The blemishes have vanished entirely. Because we've only had our puppy for a week, I can't attest to old stains, but I'm sure it would work. The product's scent isn't great, but that's something I've noticed with effective odor removers. The plus side is that 100% the urine odor was eliminated.
I'm so glad someone on Nextdoor suggested this product; it's far superior to any other product we've tried over the years. It also has a wonderful scent. After I cleaned it up, my puppy hasn't gone near it since. At long last, a fantastic product.
The only disadvantage is that it must be packaged differently by the shipper. The plastic spray nozzle was broken because the bag it came in was too large and allowed it to move around. I'm fortunate in that I have another; otherwise, I would have had to return it. br>The only reason I gave it three stars for value for money is because Bed Bath and Beyond used to sell it for a lot less. Otherwise, I would have given it five stars because it is far superior to anything I've tried.
This product removes both old and new stains. My entire carpet had to be cleaned because the spot it removed was so clean that it was obvious that my rug needed to be cleaned. It comes in handy when there are pet accidents or stains in the laundry.
For many years, I have relied on the original Folex. We recently acquired a new puppy, and I discovered that Folex had one that was specifically tailored to my requirements.
This stuff is a lifesaver if you have a house with multiple pets and toddlers. Removes odors from tile and virtually eliminates stains from fabrics and rugs. I've already placed another order.
