It's fantastic with my Bissell, and I'm sure it'd be just as good with your Hoover. Not only does it have a great smell, but it also cleans much better than Bissell's cleaning products. BioKleen laundry detergent and powdered bleach are also two of my favorites.
Yes, I've been using it with a number of my projects. years- It's an old Hoover steam cleaner, and it's still going strong.
I have a HOOVER carpet cleaner that applies the cleaner to a specific area before switching the wash cycle to Rinse and going over the area that was just cleaned. At this time, a lot of dirt comes out of the carpet, so I assume the answer is YES.

We recently purchased a home with heavily stained (formerly white) carpets, and this has restored them to their former glory. Unlike other so-called "natural" products, there is no perfumey, chemical odor. "Carpet cleaners" is a term that is used to describe a group of people who (My mother used to use Bissle cleaner when she had a house full of dogs, and it smelled like wet dog. ) Plus, there's a dog. In my house, this isn't the scent I'm looking for. ) BioKleen has a pleasant grapefruit scent when poured into the machine. There is a faint citris scent upon application, but it is genuine citrus, not perfumery or synthetic. And, believe it or not, I got down on my hands and knees to smell the carpet after it had been cleaned and there was no odor! Just spotless carpets on what used to be a dreadful wet-floored mess. It smells like a dog. I was relieved to discover that the odor had vanished. This is what you want to use on your carpets if you are sensitive to scents and perfumes that cause headaches. (Also, knowing I'm using a non-toxic cleaner makes me feel safer with my two toddlers. ) ) I adore it and will continue to support it- to keep on hand in case of emergency.
A collie mix was rescued a year and a half ago. She was four months old and had a lot of anxiety and insecurity. It took her a year to train in the house. Over $15k in carpet was ruined in that year. Everything was stained, and it smelled like a dog pound in our house. Bissell's OXI pet cleaners were the first to be tried. The perfume smelled overpowering and mingled with the smell of urine, so we moved on to Angry Orange, which received rave reviews. It worked a little better than Bissell at removing odors, but it left a residue on our carpets and did nothing to remove the stains. Then there was Nature's Miracle, which was not a miracle at all. It had no effect on the odor or stains. Before hiring a professional with no guarantees or ripping out all of our carpets, we tried Biokleen as a last resort. It not only removed stains that had been in our carpets for over a year, but it also eliminated the odor of urine from our home!! We've been looking for a miracle, and this is it. I'll keep it on hand in our laundry room at all times. br>We have a Bissell Pro Heat Revolution Pet Pro for comparison. I used 4 caps per gallon of cold tap water. I believe that, in the future, only two caps of cleaner will be required for simple carpet cleanings.
Our daughter, who is allergic to chemical odors, has recently been staying with us. I needed to shampoo the carpets, so I went with this because it's natural and scent-free. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations. It turned out to be a complete success! Heavy pet stains were removed! There was no trace of you! No smell! Amazing! br>It comes highly recommended!.
Update- It's not suitable for a carpet cleaner machine because it produces far too much suds. This was the worst bottle yet, and I believe it broke my Big Green. br>br>Recently published br>br>review- This is the ONE and ONLY carpet cleaning solution that removes urine odors. I've tried every single one of them. Note- In the carpet cleaner machine, it bubbles/foams, but only a small amount is needed. It's not as bad as it appears. This is incredible stuff. br>br>Was going to return it, but was told it wasn't returnable. It foams far too much for a machine, and you have to smell it very closely to detect any citrus scent. It's so mild that it's almost non-existent. I used it out of desperation in a room that was heavily soiled with dog urine, and the strange thing is that after just one use, the urine smell has significantly diminished. I was taken aback.
For those with sensitive skin or chemical allergies, this is an excellent option! br>My four-year-old daughter is allergic to a variety of things, and if something contains a chemical, she will break out in a rash in no time. br>This stuff worked better than the other store brands with all the fake junk in them (I tried a few before I realized there were other options), and it definitely kicks bum! We absolutely adore it!.
This large container of detergent is enough to fill many carpet cleaner tanks at home. In a regular size upright carpet cleaner, I put one cap full; 2 if the carpet is in particularly bad condition. I've only scratched the surface of the bottle after cleaning one bedroom floor twice and three cars. This stuff works great and smells great if you have a carpet cleaner with a heating element to keep the water hot. The scent is neutral, fresh, and natural. Because there was no actual heating element in that machine (yet they call it the pro HEAT? ), this stuff did not really work when I used it. End rant. ) As a result, I believe that heat, particularly very hot water, is essential in this process. I'm going to buy another one to use with my upright carpet cleaner.
Let me begin by stating that my house's light beige carpet is 20 years old. We have two children, as well as a constant stream of neighborhood children. We also have three dogs. It's an understatement to say the carpet smells bad. When our Chihuahua (ugh) had a potty accident, I had previously used the heavy chemical carpet cleaners. They perform admirably. Our largest dog, on the other hand, prefers to lay in specific areas of the carpet, which are usually high-traffic areas. I didn't want to use harsh cleaners in areas where children and dogs are present, so I bought this in the hopes that it would clean the carpet in those areas as far as surface dirtiness goes, but I didn't expect much of a deep clean. I was mistaken, to be sure. I'm blown away by how spotless the carpet is. It is, in a word, CLEAN. It's as clean as I've seen it in the last ten years. With such a positive outcome, I looked into the Chihuahua marking grounds, which also came up. There isn't any odor, and there isn't any staining. I didn't bother taking before and after photos because I wasn't expecting much. But I wish I had because it's quite shocking. This is going to be our final destination. to a carpet cleaner right now.
It didn't get rid of the odor, plain and simple. It smells nice, and I believe it has helped the smell of my towels after I put them in the washer.
