Without a doubt. There is a distinct cleaning smell to all of the varieties. With my face turned away, I move all of my pets out of the room and spread it out. However, it works perfectly!
Arm and Hammer Pet Fresh is one of my favorite products.

I don't have any pets, but the other scent I really like doesn't have a substitute. I'm going to go with this one because it smells great. is as effective as any other carpet powder on the market. PROS: br>br> Great smell (long lasting scent), vacuum picks up the powder easily (has nothing to do with the powder, but in the past I've had issues with the powder building up and clogging the vacuum cleaner with hair and other junk built up), and I like that it comes in a box. not a plastic container (the top tends to fall off over time, which is inconvenient). CONS: br>br> After a few uses, the plastic flap does not stay closed, and the powder spills out of the box in other places. It occasionally comes out more than I'd like! br>The only other drawback is that when this arrived in a large order, it spilled out into the box, covering all of my items (including the edible item packages). The powder is all over the packages, which irritates me). br>br>When ordering this, I recommend ordering it with other household cleaning products or at the very least separate from food items.
We have two cats, one of whom is a senior citizen. As a result, there is a lot of hair on the carpet, as well as the occasional stinky accident. We have about 2-and-a-half bedrooms, a large living room/dining room combination, and a hallway. 3 full- Each box contains a vacuum cleaner for cleaning the house. It leaves a pleasant, fresh powder scent in our home, making it feel much more welcoming. It also makes it easier for the vacuum cleaner to pick up cat hair. br>br>Be aware that you don't need to use this product excessively; I walk backwards, lightly sprinkling it across the carpet in each room in a back-and-forth motion. It sprays a fine powder mist onto the carpet that isn't always visible. This is exactly what I needed. However, if you pour too much powder, the scent will shift from fresh and pleasant to overwhelming.
However, after using an entire box on my 10x13 foot wool rug, I discovered that it not only does not smell blue and does not eliminate pet odors, but it also appeared to assist the vacuum in removing a couple of dingy spots. I wouldn't buy it as a spot remover, but it worked well for me. I deducted one star because, even after a thorough vacuuming, there is still a floral odor that I don't care for, though it is preferable to the "kennel" odor my rug had previously!.
While I vacuum, this product does a great job of freshening the air. Because I suffer from severe asthma, this is the only product that does not cause me to choke. Whether you have pets or not, I strongly advise you to do so.
Our apartment is less than 700 square feet, and the living room is covered in one box of barley. Given that the scent is quite strong, we try to space it out in order to address both issues.
It's a good product to use once a month to clean the carpets. You won't realize how bad your pets can make your house and carpet smell until you clean it thoroughly.
For years, I've used this to keep dog odor out of my carpets. It's simple to use and effective; just a light sprinkle before vacuuming will do the trick.
The 2- is a good product with a pleasant aroma. This seller's pk was quite expensive. For about $2, you can pick up a pack at your local Walmart or Home Depot.
