He's been to the vet several times for this problem, and each time they put him on a special diet, gave him antibiotics, allergy medicine, and special shampoos, we're back to square one. I bought this and shampooed him, then let the shampoo soak in for about 5 minutes. I sprayed this on him after he had dried off for about 10 minutes. HE HAS NEVER LICKED A BITE OR THROWN HIMSELF ON HIS BACK TO RECTIFY IT ON THE GROUND! I sincerely hope that if you decide to purchase this, it works as well as it does for my child!.

Nothing I've tried has helped my older cat's itchy, dry skin during the winter. She refuses to take medications that are supposed to relieve her itching and soothe her skin. Scratching irritates her dry skin, causing her to scratch even more. I sprayed it on my fingers (out of sight) and rubbed it into her irritated areas the first time I used it. I sprayed my fingers again after a few minutes, this time in front of her, and rubbed it into the dry skin at the top of her tail's base. Then I parted her fur on the itchy spot on the back of her neck, held the spray head against her skin, sprayed, massaged it in, and did it again in a different spot. Surprisingly, she didn't seem to mind any of it. She sat curled up in my lap, staring at me. She now calmly allows me to apply the spray to her skin when I pull it out. I'm blown away. I haven't seen her scratch in days, and the scaly spots on her skin have nearly vanished. This is fantastic.

My Scout's paws were terribly itchy and inflamed, and she was in excruciating pain! I was at a loss for what to do until a neighbor suggested I look up hydrocortisone spray for dogs. Well, this is the one I chose, and while he still needs to heal, it's a great comparison to what 2. This product lasts 5 weeks if I spray it on his paws twice a day until they're wet, then he's good to go. Thank you very much! br>.

I've tried a variety of products, prescription medications, and natural remedies with no luck. I don't usually write reviews, but I thought this product deserved it. I compiled a set of before and after photos. Keep in mind that these are only two days' worth of results. Wow, I'm already blown away by the difference! All I can do is think and hope that my little girl will continue to improve. The redness and inflammation have already significantly decreased. Thank you so much for such a great product! I'm sold.

I use flea treatment on him once a month and bathe him on a regular basis, but he still has hot spots. The itching is instantly relieved with this product. I just have to tell him we're going to get'squirt squirt,' and he'll sit still while I spray this product on his hotspot. If he could talk, I'm sure he'd tell you to buy this itchy dog product!.

It began by clearing an enormous hot spot under my collie's tail that he had chewed. It was so bad that it was deep and bloody, going from a tiny half-hearted attempt to a full-fledged assault. In the space of about twelve hours, I went from the size of a dime to the size of a tennis ball. My husband had to hold him firmly so I wouldn't get bitten because his tail was sore and hurting when I lifted it, but I managed to get it thoroughly sprayed. When the spray hit the bloody open sore, he screeched like a banshee, "I didn't read the ingredients, but I think it might sting. " I'm not sure if it stung or if it was just the sensation of cold liquid on raw skin. br>br>I used a human surgical non-adhesive bandage to cover the wound for the time being (I knew it wouldn't last). leftover dressing from my surgery, and wrapped it tightly in the self-adhesive bandage Using bandages similar to those used by veterinarians. For human or veterinary use, at a great price, and extremely useful to have on hand when you need it. br>br>By the next day, he'd gotten it pushed down to almost the end of the tail, so I slid it off. I had a quick look and it appeared to be fantastic! It was clean, there was no blood ooze, it was dry, and it appeared to have significantly improved over night. br>br>Now, a week later, the sore has a nice, clean scab on it and is healing nicely. When I have the opportunity, I sneak in a squirt - He's in his eighties, has liver disease, and is grumpy as hell - I'll be able to lift the tail, squirt, and dodge before he bites my nose off if I'm quick enough.

Because of shipping damage, my first bottle arrived a little messed up and had leaked out. It was quickly replaced, so it wasn't a big deal. It was tested on a full-grown long-haired cat that weighed only 5 pounds. There were no allergic reactions, as reported in some reviews, and the spray performed as expected, though it took a little longer than anticipated. No harm, no foul, as my baby had lost all of her hair and this stuff had quickly restored it. Advantages: br>br> br>*This spray was effective on my long-haired cat.
