Questions & Answers
Based on your dog's age and breed, your veterinarian is the best source of advice. Melatonin can be used as early as 12 weeks old if your dog has not fully matured. Consult your veterinarian first.
Yes, many of our customers buy melatonin to help their dogs cope with stressful situations like fireworks, thunderstorms, anxiety, and so on. Depending on your dog's size, you'll probably want to give them two tablets OR you can buy a 6MG tablet from our Amazon Storefront and give them one of those. Giving your dog at least one hour before the event is recommended.
This item is made in the United States of America.
This was useful for my dog, who was suffering from sundowners. He would sleep until about 6 a.m. after taking three pills (he weighs 65 pounds).

After receiving this product and giving two tabs to our Pom, I discovered that the ingredients were not the same as what was listed when I bought it. and one of the ingredients on the bottle I received was magnesium stearate. It's an ingredient that a lot of people think is toxic to dogs. When I showed our veterinarian the bottle, she told me NOT TO GIVE IT TO OUR POM. I have to tell you that I am very concerned that what I have already given to our little dog has caused him harm. This letter is being written to serve as a warning to others.
We called our veterinarian after a month and he said it was most likely the beginning stages of senility and recommended 6 mg of melatonin at bedtime, which worked the first night. She's been using it for about a month and is still sleeping well. This is an excellent product.
Melatonin was recommended by a friend after several nights of not sleeping. I was relieved to discover that this product was designed specifically for dogs, as I didn't have to worry about giving her a human pill that might contain additives that are harmful to dogs. She slept through the night the first night I gave her half of this tablet, and her sleep cycle was restored. I don't know what I'd do without this product; it's fantastic!.
It took about a week to figure out the dosage, and it really works best when used in conjunction with CBD oil (not at the same time). But we have finally found some peace of mind. A restful night's sleep is also essential. for the two of us However, when I looked at the bottom of the bottle today, I noticed that there was nothing left. I counted the tablets I'd given him backwards and there should be at least 20 more in the bottle. Will re- order, but rest assured that as soon as I get it, I'll count them. Otherwise, I'd give it a five-star rating.
I tried everything I could think of to make him stop whining, but he still complained, so this was a last-ditch effort. br>br>I tried a couple of other melatonin-based treats, but they didn't work out. These, on the other hand, have proven to be extremely effective! I give him one about 30 minutes before bedtime, along with three other pieces of kibble that he believes are treats, and he devours it. He's sleepy by the time I put him to bed and falls asleep immediately! br>br>It doesn't make him drowsy or make him appear drugged; he's just tired. And, in the unlikely event that the other dog barks or something, he can jump out of his slumber to assist in the investigation. But as soon as it's over, he'll be ready to return to his bed! br>br>If these are similar to human melatonin, I'll take him off for 7 days after every 30 days to prevent him from developing a tolerance. I didn't see that mentioned anywhere in the instructions, but I'm pretty sure it's required.
Working great for my maltese who has Cushing's disease. Lignans from flaxseed are also found in flaxseed. She's nearly back to normal, si miao san. These items make me extremely happy.
This is a tablet that looks similar to an aspirin. I'm not sure how chewable this is. Despite his fondness for peanut butter treats, our dog is uninterested in it. To get him to eat them, we'll have to hide it in soft, CHEWABLE dog treats. Even so, he selects these tablets. Although the formulation appears to be excellent, it is not chewable.
These are no problem for my dog to chew on. Because he chews them, I believe they are even more effective. My dog is suffering from mental health issues and is unable to sleep. He gets two every night, which aids in his development as a puppy. He's been using them for quite some time. I immediately switched to chewables when I saw them, and I prefer the chews.
