Product Description

Nutri-cal is a high-calorie dog and cat supplement. It's perfect for finicky, elderly pets, as well as working and hunting dogs. It's popular all over the world because it's tasty and simple to use.

Questions & Answers

Will this help a kitten who isn't eating on his own get a better appetite?

I only use it because my poodle refuses to eat dog food. There is no food for animals. Moreover, he is deficient in vitamins found in dog food. This is an excellent addition to your diet. He enjoys the taste, and I give him a small pinch every morning. I'm not sure if it's for cats or not. Dusty has never had a problem with his appetite, so I'm not sure if it helps. However, he now has access to the resources he requires. I've purchased it twice now and it lasts a long time at a reasonable price. I hope that this information is useful.

What are the dimensions of a serving?

Your dog's size, age, and breed will all influence this decision. Squeeze your finger for about a half-inch to one-inch and let the dog lick it off. Put it in the side of his mouth if he won't take it, which is extremely unlikely. Nutri- Cal is an incredible individual.

Is it supposed to be oily with a liq brow? My puppy didn't like the taste at all, so I took the tube and mashed it around until it became a paste. ?

Every day, I give this to my 18-year-old cat, who adores it. It should be easy to remove and have a consistency similar to hair gel. I'd say you've got a bad tube if you had to mash it around and it was "pasty."

Tomlyn NutriCal is the same product
5/5

This product is identical to Tomlyn NutriCal (green tube), which is manufactured by the same company. According to the package, Tomlyn is a division of Vetoquinol USA - Choose the one that is less expensive. I bought both, thinking they were different kinds, and paid $4 more for this one, which is only different in packaging.

Has my son begun to eat again? relieved
4/5

So I wasn't sure if this would make a difference for my son, who was diagnosed with end-stage CKD in the fall of 2017. Things were going well while he was on Azodyl chemical dialysis, but he suddenly lost a lot of weight, and feeding time became difficult. To keep our son eating, we've tried a variety of approaches. I noticed him licking the ground and attempting to eat dirt one day, and it occurred to me that he could be mineral deficient. I did some research and came across this product; we've been using it for about a week and he's taken to it like a duck to water. I've used it both in conjunction with kidney-friendly dog food and on its own. We've already noticed a positive change. For the past few days, the vomiting that usually occurs when he refuses to eat has not occurred. I'm hoping for a better outcome for our frail little guy in his remaining days. I applaud each meal he accepts, and if it necessitates the use of this supplement, that is exactly what we will do. (I placed an additional order for three tubes. ).

Providing assistance to my 15-year-old daughter Jack, a twelve-year-old cat My young son, Jack, was beginning to show his age and was losing weight
5/5

For the past 15 years, I've been feeding him Hartz Delectables after switching to Iams Senior formula. and fed him wet food more frequently, which combined to significantly reduce the amount of vomiting, but he was still not gaining weight. That has changed as a result of this product, and I am placing another order. I put a small amount of glop in his dish twice a day, and he SNARFS it down!.

The product is absolutely incredible, and it works like a charm! Nutrical is highly recommended by rescues and rescuers for cats who require a calorie boost in their diet to reach a healthy weight
5/5

I foster cats and had the unfortunate experience of being exposed to the glory of coccidia and giardia, which had a significant impact on the carrier cats' weights (please keep your cats indoors). Seeing cats with such a low weight made me feel uneasy. While I was able to get rid of the parasites, even doubling the food wasn't enough to get the cats to gain weight quickly enough, and I tried a different brand of high-calorie paste that caused stomach upset, I can honestly say NutriCal is the best. After about a week and a half of using this, we have had no stomach upsets, and the cats have been appropriately gaining the weight they need, and have seemed more comfortable and healthy overall. My heaviest cat is finally starting to fill out, and my little black kitty is starting to fill out as well. I'm really looking forward to it. I've also started supplementing my senior cat, who can't seem to retain many calories now that he's 18, and he's been acting a lot more energetic! This is a fantastic product, and I'll keep it on hand in case any of my cats needs a boost. It's a miracle worker that lives up to the hype! It is even recommended by veterinarians! I give this product five stars and highly recommend it to anyone who needs to put weight on a cat for any reason!.

It's useful to have on hand in the event that your cat becomes ill
5/5

I bought this for our sick cat to help with nutrition, and it works well. It is quite thick, though, and it takes some time to mix it in. My cats refused to eat it unless I thoroughly mixed it. It appears that a small amount of money can go a long way. br>Our cat has Lymphoma but is doing well; this supplement helped her gain weight and she is not in any pain. She was back to playing as soon as her wgt woke up.

For Cats, the Best High Cal Paste! Vets and rescues alike use Nutrical because they are confident that it is the best high-calorie paste available
5/5

My senior citizens require additional weight, and this assists them in maintaining that weight. It can be difficult to keep older cats from gaining weight. It's also useful for rescuing cats from shelters or the streets. This syringe feeding method appears to be very effective in helping seniors and sick people gain those necessary extra pounds. I trust this brand with my pets' health, so that says a lot about this paste; it keeps my 17-year-old looking young!.

It accomplishes a goal
5/5

Despite the fact that nothing had changed and he had been given a clean bill of health, my ridiculously picky cat decided to go on a three-day hunger strike. As a result, I was told to add a high-calorie gel to his diet. I chose this one, and to no one's surprise, he refused to eat it. I slathered it on his paw, and he proceeded to shake it until the entire living room was covered in tiny brown gel specks. Apart from that, he licked the rest of my paw bitterly while plotting my murder. To say the least, despite spending the better part of a month cleaning this sticky substance from every inch of my house, It appeared to be successful. Bill has resumed his normal kibble consumption. He is terrified of anything in a tube and constantly gives me the side eye, but I am victorious.

It appeals to her
5/5

My 14-year-old cat is becoming increasingly picky about what she eats (i. e. She has decided to boycott all other foods offered to her (only eating 2 or 3 flavors of one brand) and has lost weight while I was figuring this out. I purchased Nutri-Grain for her. Cal because we used it for malnourished cats at the animal shelter where I volunteered, and a vet recommended it because of the vitamins and nutrients it contains. My cat initially rejected it, but after the third time I offered it to her, she is now a huge fan. It's not a meal replacement, but it does provide a good source of daily vitamins as well as a few extra calories on days when she doesn't feel like eating much!.
