After suffering from surgery, our cat just couldn't get comfortable with the hard plastic cone, no matter how many pillows we piled on top of it. She kept getting up to find a comfortable place to rest The plastic cone also caused her to go into depression for several days after that. Thankfully, she was able to use this and it worked wonderfully. If she knocked into a wall with her coat on, it was not a hard blow like when it was on The flannel was more comfortable for her to sleep on, and even at times she would play with it. The purchase of this product is overall a smart one. This one had medium size, which was pretty good for me. Through the use of velcro, I had to tighten it around her neck. Therefore, the velcro ends did not align perfectly, but she still managed to wear it comfortably. While the velcro ends were not completely flat against each other, the cone was very secure and didn't come off once. Finally, I would like to add that it did get dirty over time, but it was very easily cleanable. When we would throw it in the washer and dryer, we would put it in a gentle sanitize wash and then set it to the delicate setting to dry. As it turned out, I did not think of this until it was too late. I would have liked to have one extra as a While one washes, you can lay an extra towel on them since there would be no need to worry about them getting wet. When I realized later I should have bought two (because I wasn't aware that it would have been better to wash and dry two) I had to watch her constantly during the two-hour wash/dry process so she was not scratching her stitches or rough playing with other furs. As a mother, I was extremely concerned for my baby while she was undergoing surgery The cone she was going to have to wear was going to aggravate her during her recovery period. There were three kinds of cones in different styles, but this was her favorite. And of course, I could put it on and take it off It is super soft, adjustable, and comfortable so it's easy to sleep in and wear all night. Getting it in a size M for my cat who weighs 8 pounds was no problem for me. It would have been better if I ordered a smaller size because I had to cut the cone around the velcro area because she needed assistance walking in it because it was so large. The only complaint we have is that because the velcro area of the cone is heavier than the rest, it falls around her chin area and when it bangs around her chin area she has a hard time getting comfortable because the velcro is stiff and does not I'm not sure if that makes sense, but let me insert a picture of her looking grumpy because the velcro makes it difficult for her to sit or lay down Probably one of my favorite features of this cone is the fact that it can be placed flat on the floor instead of forming a typical cone. Just recently, I had to have surgery on my dog's stomach. During these two weeks, she must be confined to a collar. It would have cost me $30 to buy a soft collar from my pet store. The collar I purchased is the result of a quick search, and I'm glad I found it. Despite being soft, the collar is comfortable enough that she can lie on it comfortably. The collars came at the time that both kittens had just been examined by the veterinarian and we needed something better than the hard plastic cone they provided. As a start, I was happy to see the collars arrived so fast! Cones provided by the vet did not get along with the cats, growling, swatting, and generally acting out of control when they were being put We had to try repeatedly to put them on since they kept pulling them off after we put our lives on the line putting them on The second thing was, the cats didn't seem to mind being fitted with new soft collars At no time did he growl, swatte or anything else. I was amazed at how relaxed they were and how little they seemed to mind having the cape fitted on them. There's nothing you can do to make them do anything they don't want to do they were able to get the collars off. Although they were able to get them off, they still agreed to have them put on again when they got All in all, we're very satisfied, and now that the cats are a week or more out from their surgery, we no longer need the collars, my girls are happy to have them for their stuffed animal hospital. When my cat removed the cone even though it was the correct size, I thought I was helping her out by doing something more comfortable than a plastic cone. When your cat removes the cone, and tears out the stitches, I thought it would be a good idea. However, I would have preferred to have used a conventional Currently, she is in a far worse position than she was. We will go back to the vet as soon as they are open but I am unable to post a picture of the damage she did. My best estimate would be that this did end up costing me another $150.

In the last one, the cone weighed so much that the veterinarian had to drag it around the floor as he shuffled. Having a smaller foot print than I am used to is nice, as it doesn't have the large looping variety. If it doesn't attract too many fuzzy things, it probably won't attract any. so impressed that I will order another one as soon as this review is finished. During those hours of deep sleep, I was able to get nothing done. I live in fear that my cat may lose his eyes because of a neighbor who pepper sprayed him. Keeping his fingers from rubbing against it keeps him from irritating As well as one way, it also works the other way around.
