No. The collar became useless after day 2. The air was drained from it after the second day.

In order to keep my Pomeranian from licking his incision after neutering, I purchased this soft collar for him. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it too much and it fits perfectly. Even though he's very weak, he's still able to eat, drink, and pick up his toys with ease. Through the night he sleeps just fine with it.

As a rescue dog, my dog had an extremely bad sore on his side when he arrived at our house. Then we watched him lick it off all! We tried cream and kept it clean, but he licked it all off! While wearing the bandage soon gave him time to heal his wound, it was too soon to remove it from him. As a matter of fact, he found it to be an excellent pillow at night as well.

We purchased this collar to stop this behavior. In the end, we decided to use this inflatable collar after we had the vet give him a collar that was awful, long, hard, and restrictive.
