An otherwise stressful situation was made so much better by this! I lost my pup to a stick poke in the groin area, it was quite deep and she was in excruciating pain. This is a great service, and I would recommend it! Aside from use in keeping my dog's wound protected, I also bought this for me. A 7 would be ideal for her. A 5-lb. bag of dog food. I purchased a small size to fit my toy poodle. I was able to get everything set up with no problems! She slept mostly in it while she was awake, so that she could be comfortable. To allow for the fog to go potty, it has to be taken off during the day, so it was fitted with the inflatable collar. Her recovery suit felt very cozy during the night, and she loved wearing it! This is a must-read for everyone!.

She is a rescue dog adopted by my boyfriend and we have taken her to the veterinarian There was nothing she liked about that cone, and everything she bumped into. It's really good and I'm glad I got it. She did not lick her stitched hands after wearing it. It was easy to put on and take off, too. My other dog was keeping her from licking them. For her, it was not as traumatic and she looked really good as well.

The dog I bought is a medium size, so I purchased a large. Occasionally, the size listed may not be the size you need. I like the way it fits. A bit of extra room isn't a problem for me, especially since I am going to wrap the tail. The velcro feature makes it easier to take off for potty time. Cleaning is a bit difficult. I just reread the directions and it does not appear to be The fact that it leaves stains when washed by hand is not ideal. The wound is more noticeable when it is open. Despite the thickness, it isn't very thick. The material is like that of a dog tee. In spite of this, I do not think it is a big deal since my dog gets itchy pretty easily, no matter what he wears.
