A turtle is an excellent choice for a vegan pet.
MSM is a supplement that can be used to help with joint pain. MSM is also used by some as a stand-alone supplement. For ten years, I worked with show and race horses, and we used a similar injectable equine version of Dasuquin under a different name, as well as an additional MSM supplement, because we didn't know about a combination formula at the time. In a nutshell, this supplement combines two supplements into one. I hope this has been of assistance.
It happened to me as well. The chews were moist, chewy, and not stuck together in my first bag. The second bag, which I received in March 2018, was dry, hard, crumbly, and a different color than the first. I contacted customer service, who promptly dispatched a replacement bag, which I received the following day. This bag was better than the first, but not quite as good as the first. These were clumped together and a little hard to work with, but they were an improvement over the second bag. I keep them in a secure container with a lock and key. I'm almost afraid to buy another bag because the price has risen dramatically.
I've discovered prds made by the same company that produces Denamarin - Nutrimaz. Veterinarians are catered to. The list of ingredients is a little hazy. On the strongest OTC, SilBin (milk thistle) is 1/2 of Denamarin from Vet. br>It's safe to say that a large number of veterinarians endorse it. Their prds make me wonder if they're really fit for what they claim; ingredients should be listed separately, and then you can figure out which prd fits your needs based on your research. Cosequin is also made by the same company. I can't tell much of a difference between my three senior LG standard Poodles. The eldest is 12 years old and weighs 60 pounds.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS IN THIS FORMULA, BUT IT MAKES MY DOG PARALYZED EVERY TIME I GIVE IT TO HER. I DIDN'T REALIZE AT THE TIME THAT THIS WAS CAUSING HER PARALYSIS WHEN I GAVE IT TO HER. I THOUGHT SHE HAD FALLEN AND HAD BEEN INJURED. SHE WAS BACK TO RUNNING AND JUMPING IN 24 HOURS FROM THE TIME I GAVE IT TO HER. I DIDN'T GIVE THESE TO HER THE NEXT DAY, AND SHE WAS ALL RIGHT. I HAD MADE THE DECISION TO SEE HOW SHE WOULD DO ON HER OWN. I GAVE THEM TO HER ON THE THIRD DAY, AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED ON THE FIRST DAY.
