Questions & Answers

Are these vegetarian or vegan options?

A turtle is an excellent choice for a vegan pet.

What's the difference between regular Dasuquin chews and MSM-infused Dasuquin chews?

MSM is a supplement that can be used to help with joint pain. MSM is also used by some as a stand-alone supplement. For ten years, I worked with show and race horses, and we used a similar injectable equine version of Dasuquin under a different name, as well as an additional MSM supplement, because we didn't know about a combination formula at the time. In a nutshell, this supplement combines two supplements into one. I hope this has been of assistance.

Is it still a problem that they're all stuck together and dry?

It happened to me as well. The chews were moist, chewy, and not stuck together in my first bag. The second bag, which I received in March 2018, was dry, hard, crumbly, and a different color than the first. I contacted customer service, who promptly dispatched a replacement bag, which I received the following day. This bag was better than the first, but not quite as good as the first. These were clumped together and a little hard to work with, but they were an improvement over the second bag. I keep them in a secure container with a lock and key. I'm almost afraid to buy another bag because the price has risen dramatically.

Is there an independent medical study that proves the benefits of this product? I heard a doctor say last week that glucosamine and other supplements for humans are a waste of money. ?

I've discovered prds made by the same company that produces Denamarin - Nutrimaz. Veterinarians are catered to. The list of ingredients is a little hazy. On the strongest OTC, SilBin (milk thistle) is 1/2 of Denamarin from Vet. br>It's safe to say that a large number of veterinarians endorse it. Their prds make me wonder if they're really fit for what they claim; ingredients should be listed separately, and then you can figure out which prd fits your needs based on your research. Cosequin is also made by the same company. I can't tell much of a difference between my three senior LG standard Poodles. The eldest is 12 years old and weighs 60 pounds.

DO NOT FEED THIS TO YOUR PUPPY - THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL RECIPE - READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
3/5

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS IN THIS FORMULA, BUT IT MAKES MY DOG PARALYZED EVERY TIME I GIVE IT TO HER. I DIDN'T REALIZE AT THE TIME THAT THIS WAS CAUSING HER PARALYSIS WHEN I GAVE IT TO HER. I THOUGHT SHE HAD FALLEN AND HAD BEEN INJURED. SHE WAS BACK TO RUNNING AND JUMPING IN 24 HOURS FROM THE TIME I GAVE IT TO HER. I DIDN'T GIVE THESE TO HER THE NEXT DAY, AND SHE WAS ALL RIGHT. I HAD MADE THE DECISION TO SEE HOW SHE WOULD DO ON HER OWN. I GAVE THEM TO HER ON THE THIRD DAY, AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED ON THE FIRST DAY. I COULD NOT MOVE HER LEGS IN ANY WAY. br>I'M TAKING THESE TO BE TESTED AT A LABORATORY. I DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS AND WANT MY MONEY RETURNED! THIS IS NOT THE FORMULA THAT YOUR VETERINARY SURGEON RECOMMENDS. THIS IS AN INTERNATIONAL COMPANY WITH A CHINESE BASE. DO NOT FEED THESE TO YOUR CHILDREN. PLEASE!.

Instead of Cosequin, the surgeon and Teddy's veterinarian recommended switching to Dasuguin with MSN
5/5

Both knees of our 100-pound Golden Retriever have been operated on. Now we have osteoarthritis to contend with. For Teddy's joints, the surgeon and Teddy's veterinarian recommended switching to Dasuguin with MSN instead of Cosequin. Our eight-year-old behaves like a four-year-old! Teddy jumps up onto my bed by leaping into the air on his hind legs. Teddy is now on Tramadol, a human painkiller. br>br>Note: Teddy is on Tramadol, a human painkiller. Tramadol costs $217 per month on the open market. On their wellness plan, Banfield/Petsmart sells it for around $135. The price drops to $99. 50 when he uses his Walgreens Rewards prescription card. The cost is now $79 per month after using a coupon found in the grocery flyers. Because both Dasuquin and Tramadol are the result of surgery, Teddy's HEALTHY PAWS INSURANCE covers 80% of the cost. We only have to pay $16 a month. br>br>We strongly recommend the Banfield Wellness plan, which costs $32/month and includes one dental cleaning per year (normally $275). Half of all dogs, it appears, die as a result of a dental issue. Healthy Paws insurance ($30/month excluding pre-existing conditions) would have been necessary if it hadn't been for Healthy Paws. We may have considered putting Teddy to sleep due to his medical conditions. The Vet couldn't get Teddy onto the X-ray machine the day we found out he needed his first surgery. Ray is a table. It was necessary for me to assist. "It's all right," I said, looking Teddy in the eyes. " I never want to see Teddy's fear in his eyes like I did that day. We believe that loving a dog or cat provides them with the same level of medical care as if they were a human child.

What exactly is a counterfit? I made a purchase
3/5

For the four days that I gave it to him, he acted a little strange. learn more about it. The product is only available from veterinarians. So, as with the original packaging, I threw it away as soon as it arrived, so there was no way I could return it. My veterinarian sold it to me. My vet's price was the same as the product price I paid on Amazon, so it's a win-win situation for me, my wallet, and, most importantly, my health. my dog. Pup has regained his former form.

Labrador Retriever, 12 years old, is on the move once more
5/5

I'm not going to lie, I only bought it because my neighbor had been nagging me about it for quite some time. The following is a brief history of our company: I have a 12-year-old yellow lab with arthritis and hip dysplasia, as well as being overweight for half of his life. When I first got him, I was able to reduce his weight, but he always walked with a slight limp due to being kicked by a horse when he was a puppy. He'd been on aspirin, had steroids, essential oils, creams, etc. for his hips/joints, and cosequin stopped working after a while, so his muscles have deteriorated significantly and I have to pull him up the majority of the time. br>br>Fast forward to him being on the small/medium dog dose for a couple of days (it's expensive and I couldn't afford the large dog bag at the time s He hadn't played with a toy in at least two years. He's done it before, and he's done it now for the third time in three years. This stuff is well worth the money if it means extending his quality of life.

Our Boxer's arthritis has improved dramatically in such a short period of time
5/5

It's incredible. Our slobbering hot mess of a boxer has blown ACLs (and had TPLO surgery), hip displasia, and arthritis at the age of seven. He appeared to be in good spirits (as one would expect from a boxer), but he was clearly in a lot of pain - It was heartbreaking to watch him struggle up the stairs and wince as he sat. Hip replacement and another TPLO - total prosthetic leg ossification - were the surgical options available. This was a high-risk, high-cost procedure that had a significant negative impact on his quality of life. It was heartbreaking. br>br>We had tried Dasuquin before (first blown ACL) but had had no luck, so we tried it again out of desperation. br>* FRIGGING MAGIC
br>Creaky hot mess has regained his puppy wiggles. Yes, he still has the underlying physical issues, but he is much more mobile and clearly happier. He moves much more easily, shows little distress (unless he's done something stupid like tear off after a deer), and is much more mobile and clearly happier. Early in the day He enjoys and anticipates his night dasoquin ritual, and the first signs of improvement appeared in less than a week. br>br>We are skeptics of "nutritional supplement" claims in general, but we can strongly link our Boxer's dramatic improvement with starting Dasoquin anecdotally. Initially, $80 per bag seemed like a bigger "risk" than we wanted to take (hint: it was). Dasoquin is a drug that is used to treat a variety of ailments. br>br>Your pet's mileage may vary, but we wanted to share this one dramatic anecdote of Dasoquin really helping the hairiest member of our family. br>br>In hindsight, the cost is absolutely negligible compared to the positive impact on our dog's quality of life. br>br>Your pet's mileage may vary, but we wanted to share this one dramatic anecdote of Dasoqui Five out of five stars are well deserved.
