Make use of the vet's medication. Mange can make your dog or cat very sick. Use the medications prescribed by your veterinarian and thoroughly clean all pet areas. Treat any other pets you have in your home the same way.
It's something I use on my French bulldog all the time - The paws, the belly, the tail, and the nose are the parts of the body that are visible. I used to have a small one for the paws, but I stopped using it. For all itchy skin, I now use the large skin soother.
I could only put on the tops of my pitbull's toes, to be honest.
Our balms have been used on a wide range of animals, including horses, by a number of our customers. Our Wrinkle Balm is recommended for more sensitive areas such as the face. It's our gentlest formula, but it's still very effective!

The product, in my opinion, is effective. However, you must use it on a daily basis, and it quickly becomes prohibitively expensive when you are only given a small amount. It also has a pleasant odor. My issue is with the cost and how little you get for your money. I had anticipated a fully loaded container, but mine was only halfway full. The packaging, in my opinion, is deceiving, as it gives the impression that you're getting a lot when you're actually getting very little. For half the price of this partially empty tube, I went to the drug store and purchased hydrocortisone cream and an antibacterial spray. She's fully recovered and appears to be in excellent health. It's too bad because I really wanted to buy the entire line, but after seeing the first one and seeing how much of a rip-off it was, I'm out.
Antifungal sprays, hydrocortisone spray, bag balm, and my daughter's diet changes have all been tried. Nothing compares to the effectiveness of this product. I also appreciate the fact that everything is organic. The only criticism I have is that it goes quickly; I've been using it twice a day for about three days and have generously applied it. However, the relief that my little grandpuppy is experiencing is well worth it! In fact, I'm placing an order for more right now. Three days have passed since the top left photo was taken.
We've been in Hawaii for about a year and a half, and our pitbull has been suffering from allergies, which I've been told is fairly common among dogs who relocate here. I'm guessing he's allergic to grass or some other common plant, as his paws are itchy. He licks them until the couch is SOAKED and his paws are blistered while we aren't at home. We've tried everything, including wearing booties outside, to solve the problem. Wearing shoes, on the other hand, causes him undue stress. So far, this has been my last resort before giving in and getting him a $300 shot every six weeks, and it has worked. It has not let me down. The paw is now healed, and all he needs now is some tender loving care to toughen up his paws and regrow his hair. The smell isn't one of my favorites. My only real complaint so far is that I feel like the product is going really fast. Right now, I'm putting it on his paws twice a day for healing, so maybe if I can do it once every other day for more preventative purposes than healing, it'll last a little longer. But at my current rate, I'll need to buy another stick in a week. We'll have to wait and see. I'll keep you updated as things progress.
She scratched her side so much that she developed a bald spot. I tried vitamin E oil first, but it didn't help at all. After that, I applied triple antibiotic ointment, which resulted in the splotchy dark red spots you see in the photo. I scheduled an appointment with a veterinarian and looked up what it could be on the internet. I'm guessing a Google search resulted in an ad for this stuff showing up in my Facebook feed. So, for $6, rather than the cost of a veterinary visit, I decided to give it a shot. I canceled the meeting and placed an order for the small chapstick tube right away. The following day, Amazon delivered it. I included a photo of the label peeled away so you could see how full it was when it arrived. Actually, the photo was taken after four applications (two yesterday and two today). So far, after only one day of use, I'm very impressed! br>br>As a result, I'm only updating this an hour later. OMG! I'm amazed at how much of a difference an hour can make! Right after my second application of the day, I took the first "Day 2" photo. I finished writing the review, went to the bathroom, and then came out to look at it. There had already been a significant amount of healing. If the itching goes away, I'm going to declare this a miracle product!.
This product was adequate, but not exceptional. I had high expectations for the price because I've been having skin problems with my Alaskan Malamutes and have spent over $1000 on vet bills as a result. After reading all of the positive reviews, I decided to purchase this as my last hope, and here are my thoughts. I get the package, which is tiny and has melted, making it sticky and causing me to lose some product. 2. I love that it comes in a deodorant stick because it's so easy to use. Now that I've started using the product, I've noticed that a little goes a long way, and one swipe consumes a lot of it. I'm on day three, and the redness has improved slightly, but for $20, I expected more. I'm out of product after a week, and I'm disappointed that it didn't work as well for the other dogs in the product claims. Now, here's what I did that worked for me, and I hope it will work for you as well because it is a LOT CHEAPER and even more EFFECTIVE! I created my own recipe with coconut oil, olive oil, Vaseline, and OREGANO oil as the secret ingredient! My dog's dry skin patches fell off the next day, and his skin was less irritated; two more days of daily ointment, and his skin is NO LONGER RED OR WITH RASH! I hope you enjoy this concoction as much as I do.
She's on steroid and apoquel to deal with them. I was hoping that this would help her stomach. We believe she is allergic to grass because she drags her tummy across it. The first photo I uploaded shows us using the skin soother for the first time. Her stomach doesn't appear to be too bad in the photos, but it was much worse. I used it twice in a row, 24 hours apart, and kept her inside except for potty breaks. I checked to see if she was rolling around in the grass. You can see how much redder and inflamed it is in the second photo. Because it contains coconut oil, I believe it will help if you have a fungal infection on your skin. Coconut oil acts as a natural antifungal agent. My dog does not have a fungal infection; instead, he suffers from severe allergies. I'm not sure why the skin soother made her skin more inflamed, but if you're going to buy it, I recommend buying the smaller tube first to try before buying the larger ones because it's so expensive; I'm not sure why the skin soother made her skin more inflamed. Unfortunately, she'll be back on steroids and apoquel.
