It's literally true! Rescued dogs often end up as orphans and we care for them. We recently had a litter of 2 - we named them A and B. German Shepherd puppies with 12 hours old have arrived (the others did not survive being born inside) Having been exclusively fed PetLac formula for one month now (hurray! ), they are now a month old today. As they've been getting their teeth in this past week, they're now starting to be weened onto puppy gruel (formula and wet puppy food of superior quality). This brand has never caused us stomach trouble. We've used it a number of times and never had an issue. Fortunately, it's not too challenging, and the puppies seem to enjoy their meals as well (down to three times a day now). A big hurrah to that! It is normal for them to gain weight and develop as they should. It is important to understand that you will need a lot of formula if you are feeding newborns. The containers could be larger if it were available. They are currently eating a can per three days between these two, and that's with us throwing in some wet food on top! You'll have to factor in puppy weight to determine the exact size. I thought I would mention something about the first few weeks, we use Miracle Nipples with 4 ounce feeding bottles (NOT the syringes supplied with the bottles because they don't hold enough formula to fill We can get the pups as close to mama as possible and they also learn how to latch on quickly to those Miracle Nipples. Heating the formula up with hot water (not boiling or using a microwave) is important. There is a lower chance of the pups inhaling formula since Miracle Nipples are installed OVER the top of the bottle cap, not through it. I really like this - thanks for posting - I am very happy to report that everyone's puppies are doing well! It's super cute too!.
It breaks my heart to have to stop giving it to him so soon because he is so hooked. This is what has helped him grow fast. He's a Valley Bulldog that's 1/2 English Bulldog and 1/2 Boxer.

Having bought three of these puppy formula cans, I am highly disappointed with them when I open them. There were only 3/4 of the seats filled. Despite my best efforts, I feel that the seller has cheated me. It is unclear if I would buy from this seller.
