While I found that it worked well for my goats, I would hesitate to use it for other species since it has additives specially designed for them. If you have an animal, I would recommend getting one made especially for it.

I am not sure what to do with the mixing directions. In a quart of warm water, I mix at least 3/4 cup or 6 ounces of milk replacement. Ratios like these have been successful in the past.
