The only reason I took a star off was because I ordered five and got four. It is ideal for feeding nine puppies that are in the process of weaning. While I have obtained powder, my crowd isn't as fond of it as I am. In order to soften dry food for my dogs, I use the powder. This is probably the most convenient feeding method for babies in the early morning. The powder is now being used for infusing the can and thinning out the rice cereal for them, which is still something I prefer once a day for them as they get older. It has been useful to have both. Although my preference is the can, there is a limit on how many you can buy. With nine puppies, you have to be creative if you are hoping to utilize them.

When I went to my local Vetco, the salesperson informed me that this product needs to be kept chilled and warmed before being used. My chihuahua was 10 weeks old and I had been feeding him I was going to buy Cogi PetLac powdered puppy formula, but Amazon was sold out of it, so I bought this instead. Can you tell me if I got a bad batch, something like that? There were 3 cans that I received, but they were unshareable. This one was brown. I saw the picture I took compared to PetLac. It came out chunky despite my shaking well before opening. It smelled like soy milk turned sour. There should be no lactose in it My nose did not detect anything like that! That's just horrible. *Anyway, I'm returning the remaining two cans that aren't opened. In the past two weeks, my puppy has already been nursed through a terrible, life-threatening bout of diarrhea, so I don't want to take He smells like milk when he uses PetLac. We only have 6 puppies (mom's milk is not yet here). We failed miserably with the powdered type. No way I could get the lumps out with a blender, and it actually recommends against it. I do not wish anyone else to go through that same pain. It is imperative that you take the squirrel as soon as possible to a rescue center. There are lots of baby squirrels that die because of their special needs. It is adorable and you probably want to take care of it, but I don't want you to have to bury it and feel the pain of losing a furbaby quickly (rather, I want to put it to rest when you don't need to).
